Sulibor: Says Beldarion I can cast See Invisibility on you and you can try to hunt the invisible enemy providing distraction and support. Your ring will grant you some protection from my spells.
That could be a good idea. As for throwing a fireball, my character won't mind some collateral damage. >:) In any case, I believe we arrived in the middle of the fray and our party is still realizing what's going on, so trying to target specific enemies or try certain tactics, as if we were fully aware of the battle layout, might not work as planned...
As for attacking the drow, I think my character will find some more menacing enemy to catch his attention, like some hag or even a baby ettin :P
In any case, Beldarion will spend this turn on attacking from behind the closest enemy (as we arrived from the other side of the tunnel, nobody will probably be expecting us and we should take advantage of this circumstance). Next turn will be more suitable for a better battle plan.

Sulibor: Dunward Human Mage cast "Magic Shield" and "See Invisibility" spells on himself and ducks in the enterance to the cave trying to find hidden enemy fellow andventure told him. He also prepares the fireball spell to be casted on the enemy once it is detected.
"Thank you my friend" he whisperes. "I do not wish to hurt anyone but if I see the the hidden faul creature I will not hesitate to cast my spell on it."
Says Beldarion I can cast See Invisibility on you and you can try to hunt the invisible enemy providing distraction and support. Your ring will grant you some protection from my spells.
Green_Hilltop: (OOC: Are you trying to kill the other people in the tunnel? Remember what happened with Arsalan, you might actually kill some of the friendly characters instead. Which would be a pity, you are a good-aligned character, no? The hags can counterspell or at least attack you back with spells, and if the shield is still on, it will completely negate any damage done to her while dmaging those arond her. Since we're sharing OOC information (since only Zayd should only know now where she is, the rest of us who saw her barrier and spell might still think she's in the room with us), they're highly resistant to magic, so she might not even be affected by it much if it does hit.
There are far better uses for See Invisiblity. Also, the fireball might backfire on you if it hits...but you'll see. It's better to have more people fighting on your side rather than betting it on one spell that might not even do any damage and then having less fighters to take her on as a result - why not hedge it on the magic mirror and buff those near the hag, so they can take her on?)
Dunward Human Mage cast "Summon Monster" into the cave and hides behind enterance to the cave.
Og'rialt I if Magic Shield that is active on you is dispelld I will re-cast it .
Says Beldarion I will also cast "Magic Shield" spell on you.

*Roosevelt stops, stunned that his equipment is being left just out of his reach.*
"You three really don't respect me, do you?"

Sulibor: Og'rialt I will cast "See Invisibility" on you, it looks like you are in possesion of a powerfull artifact that you could use against the most powerfull as not yet harmed invisible enamy. But I will live the decision to you.
Let me check with Doc if that's actually going to be helpful in this instance, but I fear the hag's invisibility really should be broken for things to work out, and see invisibility on me won't do the trick. (Don't want to reveal yet what I think will happen when I ask for the autograph...) ;P edit: Yep, confirmed. So, you'd better use the spell slot in some other way.

Lifthrasil: Oh bloody hell. Just what I need. Family is bad enough when they have their own bodies. Now I have a twin sharing a body.
Aloud Thras says:
"We're a dwarf, Taz. We are supposed to be plump around the waistline. ... Tell you what. Leave the control of the body to me, just enjoy the ride and act as a lookout. If we both control half the body, we won't be able to fight at all. And we'll try to find another of those goblets. Perhaps that will complete the separation and give you a body of your own. Then you can be as slim as you want and I can eat all the pies I like."
I try to keep control of my body. If I succed I turn invisible and try to position myself such, that I can fry a Hag without hitting anyone with the lightning-bolt or it's reflection. (taking into account the law of reflection - incident angle = reflected angle) If necessary, I drop to the floor to do that, so that I can cast upwards.
After positioning myself safely, I cast Lightning Bolt on one of the Hags.
If you can target the flabby one that cast stoneskin on itself, that would probably be ideal, both because it still (should be) susceptible to spell and less likelihood of hitting melee vs. if you target the tall injured one.Aloud Thras says:

bler144: @Doc - I don't know how the magic system works but is it reasonable to assume that injuries to arms or face hamper their casting?
babark: You ask all the wrong questions :D For others who are reading more carefully than I, is this section of Turn 9 describing a new enemy, or is Zayd picking up on the drow skulking?

I need to test how the other witches react to poison. Entangle's area of effect is too big to use safely.
Roark rushes into the room.
Roark casts poison Dart on the flabby hag
and if the other one's invisibility is is dispelled
Roark casts poison dart on the now visible hag
If the flabby hag isn't vulnerable to poison, she'll be vulnerable to it's cure. That would be much better than trying to use spells or melee, but again, it only works if she drinks it.
And I'm too close to the entrance for now, but once I find the hag's weakness I'll open Roosevelt's cage. For now risking an unguarded attack by the hags seems foolhardy.

I'm going bersek ! The tall hag carry a ring of power. We, dwarves, know how to forge them and their value in a war. Those witches don't deserve to own them.
They must die, painfully !
After everyone cast/shoot their respective spell/arrows on hags (to avoid the collateral damages like in the warded room), I start to throw my axes towards the tall hag, then rushing to her, while she is injured, with my mace and my shield to crush her body until she became a bloody pulp. I hope Babargh will assist me with his Globe of Protection and Rudy hit her with his arrow.

It's the invisible hag, unless there is another foe. Given that we saw her casting spells and being unaffected by the Light spell, it's most likely her. I know it's a bit long, but there is a description of everything that happened in my post on the previous page, in case you're curious. Yes, you hit the flabby one with the stoneskin spell. I might join you if the tall hag is done for by the time I start to act.

Lifthrasil: Alright. I'll do that. I target the Hag that has cast stoneskin on herself and Lightningbolt her to smithereens!
So I suggest using a different spell. Do you perhaps have a wand or something you could use? Allternatively you could just wait or cast Dispel Magic, if you have it, since waiting is better than hitting an ally.

Green_Hilltop: Actually the tall hag isn't engaged with anyone in melee right now as I was buried under a spider, while the flabby (stoneskin) one is being attacked by svartalf. And people are going to attack the tall hag next turn, so it's a bad idea to target any of them, in my opinion, since if anyone manages to attack before you get your turn, you'll most likely hit whoever is attacking her. And svartalf and I have Reflect Spells on, so if you hit us, it'll hit back at you. And Max doesn't have any protection, so he might die and last time the bolt was so powerful, that the person who died couldn't be resurrected. I target the Hag that has cast stoneskin on herself and Lightningbolt her to smithereens!

@Doc: to make sure that that isn't forgot: I only cast Ligthning Bolt if there is a clear path for the Lightning, where I don't endanger any ally.
If that's not possible, I just cast Dispel Magic on any protective magic the Hags have.
