[68 - Peloquin - Dwarven Thief] [Northern Main Tunnel]

Up the rope I climbed and just as I set foot aboard the ship's deck, BOOM!! The cake bomb I dropped onto the Kraken created such a blast, it showered us with bits of gore and the occassional morsel of delicious birthday cake. Collectively, we had weakened the Kraken with magic spells and bolts of lightening and the slashing of tentacles. That cake was just the final blow. And the strangest weapon I have ever used on an enemy. I stood quite proud of our coordinated attack, as I watched those giant tentacles recoil back into the water.

Seeing BJ jump ship headfirst in a desperate chase after his fallen rum was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. I might have done something very similar in the past over a barrel of ale. I held on tight as Admiral Polly used his magical forces to speed the ship out of the cave and onto a nearby wooded shore. We all watched him fly right back into the cave afterwards. Was he hoping to save poor old BJ?

Seeing Admiral Polly fly away made me think: I never got the chance to fully inspect his living quarters below deck. Any secrets we can learn about this mysterious parrot who sailed us all to safety? With Light Hammer in hand, I head back to the trapdoor, climb down, past the pile of naked dead bodies and stand before the door that reads "Admiral Polly's Quarters". I inspect the door for any traps, disarm if any, and rely on my Ring of Free Movement as I step inside and cautiously explore his quarters. Any treasures? Any secrets?

I grab what I can, make my way off the ship and join the others on the wooded shore. Have we really escaped? Is this where we are meant to be? I share any worthwhile discoveries from Admiral Polly's quarters with my mates.

Action Summary Updated
67 - Rufus - Human Cleric

BJ being absent from the ship, Rufus checks the behavior of the zombie team. He's ready to fight and prepared to cast Ring of sword, Globe of Protection, if needed.
As soon as the ahip gets outside, Rufus will disembark if it seems secure. If not he will become a pirate for some additional hours, days, or months.
Would you kindly update my action as according to gm later part of my action is not valid. Thank you
** FINAL TURN **

Northern main tunnel:

The ship comes to rest on the rocky shore, tilting to starboard.

Without BJ or Polly around the zombies stand still without minds of their own. There is one exception, OldNick has been dislodged from his place in the ships hull. Still having a sliver of his personality, he grabs two loose bottles of rum and disembarks to drink them below a towering oak tree.

68 - Peloquin - Dwarven Thief you return below decks and to Admiral Polly's quarters. *rolls dice* The door opens with a click and you enter and look around. There is a large desk in front of you with a golden bird cage on top. Sheets of paper are next to an ink well with the words "Polly wants a cracker" scrawled over them again and again.
All around the room are packets of crackers, some open.
*rolls dice* There is nothing that you deem worth taking so you return to the others and make your way to the shore.
You have escaped.

57 - Siegfried - Human Paladin you heal both yourself and Fish. You make your way to shore.
You have escaped.

67 - Rufus - Human Cleric makes his way to shore.
You have escaped.

40 - Gilius - Dwarven Druid makes his way to shore.
You have escaped.

55 - StrangerDanger - Elven Ranger makes his way to shore.
You have escaped.

34 - Stefareth - Human Necromancer with strength returning to your legs, you make your way to shore.
You have escaped.

65 - Grom Grombly - Half-Orc Shaman you make your way to shore, cold beer on your mind.
You have escaped.

63 - Fish - Half Orc Berserker you drink a healing potion and seeing the zombies motionless, you make your way to shore.
You have escaped.

45 - Loradan - Elven Mage *rolls dice* you look back from the cave entrance for any sign of the Elf thief who jumped into the water but cannot see him. You make your way to sure and offer healing potions to anyone who may need them.
You have escaped.

51 - Henz - Elf Thief you rise to the surface of the water, gasping for breath. Looking around, your heart sinks when you see that the ship has gone without you. A packet of crackers brushes your side so you grab it, wondering if it will be your last meal.
"Polly want a cracker" sounds from above and before you know what is going on you are hoisted free from the water and sped out of the cave to be dropped on shore by your companions, dripping wet.
You have escaped.

Admiral Polly flies below deck and swiftly returns with a chest brimming to the top with gold and gems. She drops it on the shore by the companions before returning to the ship and telepathically commanding the zombies to set about repairing the damage. All the zombies lumber around as commanded except for one who stays under a tree, supping from a rum bottle.

** FINAL TURN **

Northern side tunnel:

61 - Vanathradil - Elf Mage looking though the portal at all that beer, you can almost taste it!
You see the goblin poking around with something at the back of the wall. What is he doing? Is he plotting an attack or will his carelessness set off a trap and kill everyone here?
Your comrades reassure you that Squee is simply doing as goblins do and going for the shinies.
You smile, knowing deep down that they are right and that Squee has been a valiant companion through this ordeal.
Beer back on your mind, you step through the portal and into the tavern cellar.
You have escaped.

10 - Squee - Goblin Thief grinning from ear to ear, you shove as much loot into your pockets as you can before motioning for the others to do the same. You then enter the portal.
You have escaped.

56 - Damon - Dwarf Warrior you urge Squee to hurry as you hear the Duergar the other side of the door. You enter the portal.
You have escaped.

1 - Hummer - Elven Ranger you enter the portal.
You have escaped.

21 - Danric the Exiled - Human Paladin you stand guard until all are safely through the portal before entering it yourself.
You have escaped.

The companions sit around a keg of ale they have cracked open, drinking and laughing. A large Half Orc in an apron, the proprietor of the "Dog an Boot" tavern that you are sat in stomps down the stairs to see what all the noise is.
He looks at you all in shock "How you get here!?" Seeing a near empty keg of beer he continues "My ale! How you pay for that?"
Squee empties his pockets, spreading gems and gold all around him. He looks at the Half Orcs wide-eyed expression and laughs. One by one you all join in with the laughter.

Doc0075: ** FINAL TURN **
Kudos and Thank you, Doc!! This was an amazing and very entertaining dungeon game, especially considering the amount of work and detail keeping that had to go into keeping track of interweaving multiple tunnels and 80 players. I have to admit that was definitely the most fun the wife and I have ever had being someone's minions. P-) The patchwork zombies were especially funny as one of the wife's hobbies is patchwork quilting. LOL ... and yes, you nailed it, 'Admiral Polly' is often the organizer and keeper of 'treasure' and lists behind the scenes. (However, for the record me hearties, Admiral Polly prefers spiced tea and Scottish bisquits to rum and crackers!)

Thanks again, Doc! We just hope you had even half as much fun as you definitely gave everyone else (participating or reading)! :D
I had a blast. I never thought something like this could be fun. This is the first time I played a game like this. I was hoping to kill the tree hugger/rat lover from the western tunnel but oh well. lol

Thanks to the guys and gals who kept track of the actions and constantly updating them. You guys are awesome!

Oh dear, you truly were an evil character. :O
It was really, really fun. Even as a total noob I was able to learn the gameplay on the road and in the end I had a blast. Real life got on the way sometimes but I tried to make meaningful contributions at least once per turn. I still wish I could have gotten the Kraken drunk, but c'est la vie...

And I can't even begin to imagine the tremendous amount of effort that our gracious host (and helpers) dedicated to the game. Kudos to you!

I hope we will see more forum games like this in the future.
