Actions added to Summary
If BJ can't lift the boat, Loradan will try to freeze the Kraken anyway and tell the captain to just sail around the cold area (if it's small, this is the safest and most sensible decision btw).

If the spellcasting fails, however, Loradan will decide to fly away from the ship (sideways, as shown below) constantly attacking the Kraken with his Magic Missile wand to attract its attention away from the vessel.

[68 - Peloquin - Dwarven Thief] [Northern Main Tunnel]

CRASH! THUD! I peer out the Treasure Room door. A Stone Elemental stands before me. Summoned by one of my mates, I'm sure, but somehow crashed through the ceiling to where I am stood. None of my weapons are a match for this towering Creature of Rock. But like my Dwarven Dad used to say: "Even a pebble has it's place!", a reminder that size doesn't always matter when facing an enemy. I must rely on cunning manoeuvres and agility to avoid any attacks!

First, I grab the dynamite birthday cake behind me. Such an explosive weapon may be of great use for defeating BJ's enemy! I tuck my Light Hammer away. Difficult to swing a weapon with a cake in hand! I step out the door and attempt to manoeuvre my way around the Stone Elemental, trying my best to avoid any attacks it may throw my way, striving to position myself behind it at all times, so as to confuse it and keep myself out of it's sight! If I do get struck, I use a heal potion and stick to my strategy.

I wish to grab a harpoon or two, to bring back to my mates on deck. I may have to leave my Light Hammer behind to make room for those harpoons, however. Not sure how many I can carry. As I dance my way around the Stone Elemental, I keep an eye out for my best exit plan: is the safest way out of here through the same trapdoor I used earlier? Or is there another exit, possibly through Admiral Polly's Quarters?

++++++++++++++++++++++++
High constitution. Leather armour.
1 x cure poison potion. 1 x heal potion.
Lockpicks. Trap disarm kit. Rope.
Ring of free movement - this ring means traps and spells to ensnare me will not work.
Shortbow and quiver of enchanted arrows (paralyze).
Lucky dagger. Light hammer.

direspirefirewire: StrangerDanger - Elven Ranger

Is this some sexual thing? It certainly sounds like some sexual shenanigans that humans regularly engage in when they're together, though it's the first time I'm hearing of so many parties banging nasties together - a gangplank gangbang if you will.

I hoping my electrical arrows won't miss their mark when the Kraken surfaces then. Is there a harpoon gun ready or do we have to rely on arm power? I also hear humans refer to their arms as guns. Color me confused
StrangerDanger - Elven Ranger

Okay I guess my corny jokes fell flat. I'm guessing my 300+ year old humor doesn't appeal to the youngling race
40 - Gilius, dwarven druid

Gilius focuses his sight on the kraken ahead, waits until he has a clear sight on it, then casts Lightning Storm several times, as much as he can, as long as the spells do not risk injuring anybody on our side.

Meanwhile, the stone elemental says hello to Peloquin with its hand, then climbs the stairs back to the bridge.

To phaolo and Doc0075 : thank you for the achievement ! ;-)

Squee keeps to the shadows and follows Vanathradil and Damon around the corner. He stays back out of sight and readies his crossbow to fire at the duergar at the first sign of hostility.

muddysneakers:
Message to team: pmed doc...
asked "The duergar were playing cards so logically they weren't holding weapons in their hands during that time. When the 5 of them blocked the right door were they holding any weapons? The one who addressed me , is he holding a weapon? Does he only point to the door while staying still or he moves towards me/the door with the intention of showing/following me inside?"
he replied "They are all holding weapons (weapons were by their sides at card table). He is motioning you towards the left door and is stood ready to open it for you."
so it's probably a trap I think. The duergar only see me btw so they could attack immediately if they wanted to, their actions seem defensive? How about we attack this turn? Squee has informed us about the duergar so the moment you see them with weapons you could attack, you will see me and Damon attack first when you turn the corner so you will consider the duergar as enemies, I think it's fair that you get to attack if you have time on your turn. You can put a condition in your post about an action.

hummer010: I'm with you. I say we cautiously follow the duergar's directions.

Damon18: [56 - Damon - Dwarf Warrior] [Northern Side Tunnel]

I go closer to the elf mage while invisible and i whisper to him:
"I don't like this situation, it smells like a trap to me
We should move towards the other door. and if necessary fight to to reach it"

I try to move and gain a position of adavntage to have as many possible targets to strike an attack from the back

(Huh? I replied to you ... but it's not there. Strange. My reply was something like this:

You actually made me consult my dictionary, worried I worded something wrong. :-D If so, I couldn't find it.
My character isn't anywhere near any of you, though. She's in the Western Tunnel and she is a Halfling, not a Human.)

(o.O Ok, I'll take your word for it, because I've never heard/read a hint about this "BJ"-thing - and I probably don't wanna know what that could be, so I'll resist curiosity and not look it up. Thanks for the "warning" then. :-) )

(ROFL! Thank you!!! I can't stop laughing... gonna piss myself!)
67 - Rufus - Human Cleric

Rufus doesn't know how to help the crew anymore and thinks "What is my life worth against my several brave and living mates' ...".
Rufus casts Divine Retaliation. With his Guardian, they attack the squiddy creature in order to attract and bobbytrap it. Rufus throws his Silver Returnning Light-Hammer on Fire toward the closest tentacles.

[21 - Danric the Exiled - Human Paladin] [Northern Main Tunnel]

I came around the corner. Trying to look as intimidating as possible, I join Vanathradil and I stick to his side. If any duergar has drawn his weapon, I also keep my sword drawn. If any of them attack us, I take a defensive stance and fight the closest one, still guarding Vanathradil's sides / back.
