Lemmus: Two days per turn was what Doc expected when first posting the challenge
I just hoped that the weekend would have been x2 faster.
Anyway yeah, we can only wait for Doc to show up.

ConsulCaesar: To be honest, I was kinda expecting a meteor shower falling down out of nowhere and killing half the players on Day 1. ;)
Check the southern tunnel for that, their friendly fire (literally) is strong. :P
(I'm exaggerating tho)

ConsulCaesar: At least in the Westerm tunnel it's giving us the chance to discuss strategy and exchange ideas.
(I agree totally, discuss, cooperate, chat, before playing your moves. You can then coordonate the actions, and benefit from the capabilities of all players)

Sorry for the delay, had work and family commitments yesterday.
It is fine Doc
I will just clarify something here (and later in the other threads) regarding the resurrect spell.

There are limitations, if someone has their head blown clean off the spell will not grow them a new one, thus letting them live again.
If they are ripped in two and their innards scattered over the ground (not to mention parts of them being eaten by a certain Half Orc) the spell will not bring all the parts back in to a whole.

What it will do is mend any causes of death that don't totally decimate the body such as stab wounds, broken bones or death from venom, poison and such like.

( IMO ideally that cooperation should often consider the characters' situation, positions and skills.
For example a character with low intelligence shouldn't come up with a complex stategy, one with low charisma shouldn't be able to easily convince people, a group in the middle of a fight shouldn't be able to notice everything and easily take organized actions, etc..)

Eh no problem, I can understand.
I was just too eager to continue :P
Welcome back

Do not haste our Game Master. Enjoy your life while you can, your next turn can be the last one.
Just to keep track of turns, as I have it, currently:
- Northern and Western tunnels are in turn 4 (i.e. completed turn 3)
- Southern and Eastern tunnels, as well as Central chamber, are in turn 3 (i.e. completed turn 2)

As reflected by my forum "title".

The central chamber seems frozen in time tho. O_o
Including the centipede, your character and those other 2 players.

Why frozen in time? It's the same time as the Southern and Eastern tunnels.

And of the four characters in the chamber, three have posted actions, Lemmus explicitly, myself implicitly (still waiting), and Cutesy telepathically.

I think you're mistaken, I spoke with Doc yesterday and asked him about the turns. He said that he would post ** TURN X **, when it's time for a new turn. Multiple actions may take place within a single turn. If a post with dice rolls is not prefaced with ** TURN X **, it doesn't count as a new turn.

Main chamber is currently at TURN 2.
Western tunnel is currently at TURN 2.
Northern main tunnel is currently at TURN 2.
Northern side tunnel is also at TURN 2.
Eastern tunnel is at TURN 2.
Southern main tunnel is at TURN 2.
Southern side tunnel is also at TURN 2.

Everybody is on the same page, so to speak, even if it feels that some places are a lot busier than others.

OK. Thanks for clarifying.
Chamber:

59 - Lemmus - Cicatrix - Drow Ranger rushes for the Southern side tunnel:

*rolls dice*
The centipede doesn't notice and she makes it safely into the tunnel. Instead the centipede turns its attention to 54 - Korotan - Karanos - Half-Orc Cleric, tearing the Half Orc apart and devouring him in minutes.

*rolls dice*
The centipede is drawn towards the South Eastern column. It taps the column with several of its sword/legs.

*rolls dice*
It whips its body in to the column with tremendous force, dust rains down from the ceiling but the columns holds firm.
Elven Necromancer does not sigh in relief, so as not to make any noise. She also does not whisper "Bye, bye, Cutesy. There are more tasty morsels down any of the six tunnels", for the same reason.

Instead, she gets ready...

Not waiting for another strike from the centipede, Elven Necromancer, still inside the column, casts Eagle Wings on herself. As soon as the spell has taken effect, she steps out of the column, using her Meld into Stone staff ability, in the opposite direction from that from which the centipede had struck it. Immediately, she spreads her wings and flies 20 feet straight up (or as much as the height of the chamber safely allows). Once up there, she quickly positions herself directly above the centipede's head and casts Summon Stone Elemental in the air, to have it plummet 20 feet down onto the centipede's head. Hopefully, the elemental's mass and earth's gravity will join forces to save this poor druid by crushing the centipede's skull. Or perhaps her halfling luck will do it.
