Captain's Log Supplemental:
I've teamed up with several adventurers, Siegfried, Tanea, Loradan, Roosevelt, Shins A'Hoy, and Rufus. Based on my limited observations, they seem to be good people. My only concern for now is the Drow that has lined up behind our party with another on the way. I'd like to think we could reason with them but my knowledge of classic DnD games tells me they are a predominately evil species but I shall remain hopeful but ready in case they turn on us.

Shortly after teaming up, what I feared came to pass. People desperate to find a way out, pulled the four chains in the center of room releasing clouds of dust out of the four tunnels followed by what sounds like a pirate. Whatever danger awaits us down these tunnels will most likely be far less dangerous than what is coming from that grate. I beckon our team to make haste down the west tunnel with our Halfling Thief to lead the way spotting for traps.

Guys, I think it would be a good idea if we get going down the west tunnel. I suggest Shins lead since he can spot the traps for us. Me, Siegfried, and Roosevelt will follow to backup our thief friend. While Loradan, Tanea, and Rufus should stay protected behind us so they can cast their spells free of danger.
Franziskan Human Cleric

I asked for a plain paladin to join us not a psycho paladin. Why did Gar Dragonlord of Vadenville - Elf Paladin sneak attack the ranger? And what do we do with him?

"Damn, run, you bastard! Next time you'll meet my arrows!" - Thelis yells at Gar Dragonlord of Vadenville, the fleeing paladin.

*Thelis uses bandages to patch up his wounds*

ConsulCaesar: The priority is finding an exit -or well, you know, survive those rocks falling all over the place. We'll have time to fight each other later. Plus, I don't think whatever is coming out of that grate is going to distinguish between ""good" and "evil".

phaolo: "Cough.. the point is.. cough.. that we can't trust such allies at all, they'll gladly use us a bait at the first occasion. Or kill us just for fun.."
"I'm not saying.. cough.. to attack them, I'd just let them go on their way, so we'll have to worry about one enemy at a time."
I will judge the pureness or blackness or their hearts by their actions, not their birth. I swore to protect with my life every hero with a pure heart willing to cooperate, regardless of racw.

But, if keeping a distance helps with what the arcane mages called "statistics", well... it's not like we all fit the tunnel's width at the same time

It is unwise to sow distrust amongst our own team members. Unity is key to survival.
Individuals don't have a choice where they are born, but they can choose where they die.
I will do what is reasonably asked of me to protect my comrades.
United we stand, divided we fall.

Fine with me!
Daniel - Human Thief

Without wasting time, I proceed to unlock the hornet chest. Suprisingly, unlocking this one was a rather trivial task. But before I open it, I'm suddenly shoved aside by another fellow thief, an elf with an apparent disregard for basic manners, a clear violation of the Thief's Code.

Unfortunately, before I can voice my discontent, a spiderweb springs from inside the western tunnel, trapping us both in place. A sticky situation indeed, but immediately after that, a lady drow - possibly a Necromancer given her looks - with a goblin in tow approaches us and frees us from the web through some sort of enchantment.

But not without taking the treasure of the chest for herself, an ornated silver dagger, a weapon which would make the perfect fit for a thief. Obviously, I couldn't allow this to stand, so I call to the drow and tell her:

"Greetings, lady Necromancer! I appreciate you getting us out of this mess. But as much as I admire your business-like approach to thievery, I had my eyes on that treasure first, and as a Thief, having someone else snatch it away doesn't sit well with me. As I would like to avoid conflict given the approaching dangers of the grate, I offer you the chance to just hand over the dagger peacefuly. Otherwise, I'll be obligated to start playing roughly..."

I look at the elf beside me and tell him:

"As for you fellow thief, I'm willing to forgive your lack of manners if you support me in this situation."

While open for negotiation, I stand on guard for a potential fight.

Sure. Let's.
74 - Yeenwi - Drow Necromancer casts a spell and quietly follows the other adventurers in the West tunner.
Squee readies his light crossbow as he slinks forward through the shadows in the north main tunnel.

-Squee Male Goblin Thief
Me, Pater Alf, Half-Orc Warrior starts walking down the eastern tunnel. Hopes that other Half-Orcs (Cardan, Balbok) and funny little elf guy (Valius) will follow.

17 - Tridris - Drow Necromancer

I'm looking at the dagger (trying to evaluate its value) and then at the thief that just spoke to me.

"What a funny little male human we have here, I'm saving you from certain death and you dare to make demands to me... and in this situation... fascinating.... and here I wanted to make it easy for you... on the other hand, fresh corpse are always usefull in my... "field". Are you sure that you are ready to bear consequence of your actions? Think about it deeply and fast as I believe we don't have much time left for pointless quarrels."

Seeing the attitude of the thief and that he is on the guard I'm saying quickly to Gold "Be ready for anything, this may end messy" and after that I'm starting quietly incantation of the spell that, depend of the situation, I may end or not.

MaxFulvus: Ok for me to follow the main south tunnel. As a formation, I suggest :

WarriorlThieflBattlemage
ClericlRangerlPaladin

Considering I need to detect traps or secrets areas, I'm obliged to stay in front. I have a Battleaxe, so I don't fear close combat, but not a heavy protection, so to be under Babargh's Globe of Protection would be great.
I may be misconstruing your formation, but considering I carry a shield, and have high constitution (plus immune to disease, turn undead and 1x immunity to fear) I would agree with Babargggh that it would make more sense for me to swap forward for the battlemage.

The tunnel is wide enough that they can come forward for melee without being an immediate target of ranged/traps.
I am a bit curious how the turn system is going to work in terms of movement/trap searching though. If things are fluid, it makes sense for the lineup to actually be more staggered

Scout ahead: Thief in stealth/search mode
Front line: Warrior - Guardian - Paladin
Back line: Cleric - Ranger - Bmage

If we're taking the wider tunnel I think there's also some argument for group to include the other 4 taking south main:

41 - zlaywal - Zayd ibn Yasin - Human Ranger ( #318: "He'll stick forward to the larger Southern tunnels")
28 - triock - Triock Ulagolor - Elven Paladin ( #326: "he draws his famous flamesword Riarwirn and proceeds to the main South tunnels.")
80 - Green_Hilltop - Eranear - Elf Paladin ( #336: "Otherwise I move inside the main South tunnel")
3 - arsalan12 - Arsalan - Elven Mage ( #392: "I'm heading to the south main tunnel."

We have our fair share of blunt/silver weapons, but more blades (particularly a fire sword) and more ranged could be useful, particularly if the tunnel opens back out. If it divides into smaller passages, we can separate back out later, imo. Though some of those 4 seem inclined to go ahead solo (or have already done so) if I'm skimming correctly?
I'm(Cornholio) missing from the game.
Have I already lost my Goblin mind and joined the horde of enemies crawling up the grate?
