Been lurking in the shadows, unsure. But as the deadline approaches, I knew I'd hate myself for not giving this a go! Sounds like it's gonna be an EPIC adventure. ;)

My name is Peloquin and I'm a Dwarven Thief.
I'm In :)

I will be

Rudy - Human Ranger
Is there some information available on the effects of spells ? Because some of them are not always obvious.
Hi, great idea!

I'll enter the Dungeon as 'Thras', the Dwarven Mage (unless the 'Magic resistant' trait forbids that)
@Doc0075: What are you hoping for with this game's experience? Obviously it's a ton of work for you to administer this, but also obviously you're giving us a lot of options for being creative with.

In cases where there's a potential conflict between players making creative (and hopefully awesome) use of those options, going off on unanticipated tangents with the risk of possibly 'breaking' the game, causing you to have to expend extra energy of keeping it all on the tracks, versus them deliberately not trying to break out of the mold too much and making it easy for you to manage the chaos which will ensue in this game even without such play, do you have a preference?

Asking for a friend. 0;)

Who's that strange guy and what is he talking about? We're in some stange circular chamber deep in the dungeons. Let's work together and I hope we'll be able to get out of here. Who's the "dock" and what's the "game" he's talking about?

Maybe we should make sure that all spells are available for our party. I mean, everybody should take other spells, or at least one or two spells that has no other player.
Just a friendly reminder about the massively overpowered debuff the Drow have. If you are a Dwarf, Human, Elf or Halfling, avoid them like the plague.

Testor0: That's an awesome idea.
As my first message in the forum, I would be honored to participate in your quest.

I'll be Rufus, Human Cleric.
You need to either add me as a friend or change your chat settings to public.

If you are unsure of a spells effects, just ask me in chat. In fact if you are unsure of any action in the game, send me a chat message.

I would like you all to act how you would think your character would act. Consider your race, your class, are you a goody-two-shoes who wants to help everyone? Or are you there to look after number one, to claim the loot for yourself.
There is no wrong choice, forge your own path, help others, use others but most of all just try to have fun (for some of you it will be very short lived).

Can't wait to roll that glorious one and die of a heart attack :O
from past contests the sheer number of pages of new spam, chat, entries etc made it almost impossible to find story entries and other needed posts. is there a way to bookmark or edit the thread to keep those up front and accessible?

Yes there is: mark the thread as favorite. Just look at the screenshot, below "search" and "new post", just tick the box beside "This is my favorite topic"

I think it should be fine now. Please let me know if it still won't work.

bler144: He PMed me about it. I'm torn between Placebo the Merciful and Bler the Bounteous.

But...I'm also a bit tempted to see what not-flattering names he can come up with.
Well, personally, I would choose Bler the Bounteous (I had to use a dictionary for bounteous, I like that word).

I was wondering about that "non-flattering alternative" too, which was why I was dabating with myself whether to ask you or not, to get a chance to see what Doc0075 would come up with. ;-)
I am Vanlaa, Human BattleMage
