I thought "burn a cd" meant copying it.

I don't think you can literally burn a cd, but only melt it.

Unlike windows where things work with the existing installers well, on Linux there are dependencies and things like that. A client would do alot of the work for the user that wouldn't be easy to do by hand.

To be fair, that's probably also why Linux doesn't have a client, yet. I'm not holding my breath on this client thing, though. What all distros will be supported? Can it also keep up with all the deprecation?

Anything that melts will burn from it's melted form, usually.

I think microwaving them also melts them, but that's dangerous.
