ChrisGamer300: I'm catiously optimistic but i do really hope they improve from Skyrim/Fallout 4 and implement decent rpg mechanics, like deeper character customization, give us real choice, larger cities, more than blank slate npc's, more spells, deeper and content heavy factions and so on.
StingingVelvet: I doubt they'll change direction. The perk systems they have established allows for a ton of RPG style character definition without "confusing" stats for casual players. That's all they care about. Personally I disagree with a lot of old-schoolers about it. I do think the perk systems of Skyrim and Fallout 4 forced me to choose character roles and stick to them more than people say. In fact it was easier to become an all-purpose god in classics like Morrowind, IMO.
Probably but i personally prefer stats since it feels more personlized like it's your character as long as it doesn't hinder your HP gain and force you to level in a tedious way, I'm not entirely against perks but if they decide to implement it atleast make the perk trees larger with more choice and less raw stat increases like + % damage and reduction and having a few more unique perks.
Yes i hope they can balance endgame difficulty better too regardless of how they decide to approach it, i'm not going to be negative about the game this time and instead be hopeful that they can improve what worked and what didn't.
