In the end, I impulsively got the game. Chapter 1 was completed, so I played that. It was pretty short, but nice.

The game has been a well mixed blend of horror and erotica so far. It's definitely more of a VN. You have some choices, but for chapter 1 at least, they seem to converge to the same path. I like what they did with the art, the music and the atmosphere. It is well written.

The protagonist is kind of scary and disturbing and the ghost girl (I assume it is what she is) is equal part enthralling and scary.

Look forward to seeing what they do with it.

LynXsh: (just to clarify stuff: have nothing against the game in question or horror eroge. and I LOVE Saya no Uta.)
Loved that game too. Very unique and memorable.

I played the Demo yesterday as well. Right now the game is pretty much a mixture of insight into the psyche and thoughts of the main character (who is pretty troubled) and the mystery surrounding that woman. Imo things do happen a bit too quick to be believable but then again to judge this we need to know how much of this is "reality" and what the woman really wants ... both interesting questions that imo can make or break the game in the end. The game is called "Wet NIGHTMARE" so it probably won't be just fun an pleasure in the end. Enjoyed the artstyle but would have loved a few more renders ... and of course voice acting is missing for now.

I do not recommend trying out the demo because it will be difficult not to buy the game after... i mean, who does not want to know how it will be continuing?

Not sure this game is even on Steam as it may fail the "rating" and move into a ban in extreme cases. It was already happening for a good bunch, including Amatsutsumi. So, the studios may either only provide strongly cut versions or not even dare "trying". In some cases not even censorship may help as the entire game may have to be "wiped out" down to perhaps 50% content if some design is very "unfitting".

Those stuff is surely for open minded and tolerant people only, so, for those having a "strong opinion" or "faint heart" they may look elsewhere.

Agree! There should be more render in between... in many cases it is more of a written romance because a fitting picture is simply missing. Although the stuff provided is of good quality, which is unfortunately rather difficult to get on this genre.

It has a Steam page. I always check every release against Steam, to see what kind of a feature or DLC has been omitted from the GOG release. In the case of NSFW games it's also to see more informative screenshots LOL.

Oh, i can not access because not logged in and i can not even remember my account info, may have to restore first.

I am surprised it is on Steam because most anime VN are censored, basically any of them to be more precise, but for some reason not this one. As i told, there was already Anime VN (or other games) that has been banned there.

Not sure how Evenicle "survived" Steam and Evenicle 2 is censored the hard way.

Here a list of banned and removed games:

I don't mind missing voice acting as I feel many examples in these sorts of games is kinda 'lacking'.
(also due to OCD/etc I often read the dialog and click to go to the next bit of text before they're ever finished speaking)

Voice acting however is part of the feature description so it will come eventually .. you already have the option to mute these of course.

That's fine and I don't mind it being added for those who want it, just musing my own feelings on the subject while it's at hand :)
There is no need to hurry because this game is barely more advanced than the full version. Still, the price may most certainly barely become dropped any time soon because it is already on the lower end (and i live in the highest priced area worldwide) with its 10% cut. So, if people enjoy, maybe okay supporting this dev.

The only thing i always worry with "in dev versions" simply is, that all of a sudden the dev may abandon a game but if a demo is well done this risk is unlikely gonna happen, i feel.

True, as I was playing it, I did think it would have been nice to have voice acting to accompany some of the writing. The music and sound of the game was used to very good effect though.

Graphics-wise, I'm not a connoisseur, so not 100% certain what you mean by additional renders. I enjoyed the animation combined with the realism of the environment which is part of what drew me to the game in the first place. I did feel some of the backgrounds in the dream section could have been crisper and the eyebrows on the top hair for the "ghost girl" were a little weird, but that could have been a stylistic decision. I absolutely loved the finely shaped athletic lower body and cute face of the girl combined with the cadaver-like torso... combining the lovely and appealing with the macabre and the protagonist's reaction to that which says a lot about him.

In terms of the story progression, I guess it could go several ways. I think we can establish that the guy is most likely a sociopath at the very least and the disappearances are an important element of the story. At this point, we've yet to clearly establish his relationship to that. He could be responsible and she could be his comeuppance in which case she would be that appealing trap that would be whatever she needs to be to get under his skin. She could also be a previous victim recruiting him as some kind of antihero avenger (the scene where he defended his home alluded to that possibility) in which case she would also want to be appealing to him to secure his help. Or she could even be the predator responsible for the disappearance and he could just be the hardest prey she's yet tackled.

Either way, I strongly guess that at this point, the way she is is somewhat of an act for his benefit to lure him in whatever he plans are. To me, she feels a bit like a spider weaving that intricate web to lure in a difficult prey.

I own two InDev games from Kinky Fridays and both are far from being abandoned. In fact you get progress reports and planned milestone devblogs on their dioscord ... sometimes they even ask their community. They are also extremely active and you get your question answered within minutes. These experiences let me believe that they will finish what they started - I believe in them :)

Unfortunately they have confirmed to me that there won't be any major voice overs in the final game. The line on the product page that announces this feature should have been removed and they will correct this shortly.

In-betweens ... different poses. In many VNs - especially the western ones - you often have more the feeling of watching a movie than reading a book. Animations is one reason but even without animations you get the feeling of movement the more often you see different poses of characters and/or different camera angles. This game was nice to look at but because of missing additional renders it felt more like a book and was pretty static.
