Here you are.
I plead the fifth.
Of course not, don't believe everything you may find on the internet.
Very likely just a rumor, but do keep in mind, there's no way Marcin would be able to admit it if it were actually true. They're a publicly traded company. They are absolutely not allowed to publicly confirm details that may affect their stocks before spreading that information through the proper channels. They already had a gaffe there recently.

So him making that statement really doesn't mean much. It's in their interest both legally and financially to deny it till it actually happens. (assuming there were any truth to it)

1. It's almost certainly not true.

2. Even if it were true, CD Projekt RED isn't GOG. They have the same parent company, CD Projekt, but they are not the same company. Even if EA did buy CD Projekt RED, they wouldn't have any more control over GOG than they do now.

EDIT: And for reference, I'm pretty sure that while CD Projekt is publicly traded, GOG and CDPR are not. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that should mean that neither CDPR or GOG can be bought without either getting CD Projekt's consent or buying CD Projekt itself.

Could be the reverse. All the DRM left EA bankrupt and CDPR offered to buy them and get them rid of it.
This is bulshit.
Ubisoft is going to buy CDPR and gog is going to merge with Uplay.
Also I am going to be PoTUS.
This would be incredibly strange. Especially given how well CDPR has been doing lately. They shouldn't be suffering for cash right now, so I'm not sure why they would even want to be bought out at the present. They should have enough money to easily fund at least one more AAA game even without selling any more copies.
Just think about it for a while. What does EA knows about Slavic culture? How would The Witcher politically correct looked? And who would want play it? ; )
look! a three headed monkey! :)

That's a good point, perhaps they just want to shut Anita up with TW4: The Witcher goes to mandatory gender studies re-education camp.
low rated
CDP want to buy the rights of the complete C&C and Alice series .
