Hi.

So I tried to download Cyberpunk 2077, keep getting a E9 and no support.

So than I tried downloading the offline files, took me all days even re downloaded 4 times.
So In total I downloaded this 5 times.

The installer keep saying the files are corrupted....
So I downloaded each files separate first, than just downloaded them all again, that's why I downloaded them 5 times.

How is this possible?
How can I fix this?

seeing Gog.com will never fix the E9 problem...

If you have any .part files that means the files you are referring to are empty and not fully downloaded. Thought they should all be the exact same size(3.99Gb)

Maybe your internet barfed at key moments, or you put your computer to sleep or something. If you can try to resume the downloads see if they pick up afterwards, otherwise you may just have to re-download the entire file again.

I'd almost say if GoG had torrents set up (that uses encryption and a key or something) that would probably do a better job than manual downloads.

They are, well most of them are 4GB one is 3.99.
Downloaded on a very old pc for the 6th time, and it's saying now that the first bin isn't even there.

No my pc is never off mode. Never sleep never off even the screen Is always on.

Yeah, I installed Fallen Order just to see if it's my pc, and that runs smoothly through Steam and Origin...

It's GOG that doesn't work, and I feel like they are just Ignoring the problem As well.
I even got an email saying is this problem solved than we gonna close this case today...

I put the galaxy app through the firewall Deleted my anti virus....the galaxy app just wont get over 5%
and it keeps giving me E9, that's why I downloaded them separate but even than I get corrupted files...

Did a quick screen of the files.

4Gb is just rounding, it would be 4G or larger, but historical filesize limits on Fat32 as well as chunks to burn for DVD likely primarily determine size.

I might have suggested doing a md5sum vs a listed source of them, but the integrity check probably does that already.

I'd really say delete the offending files, download 2-3 at a time, and try again and see if any others fail. Ones that haven't failed before (like 6-8) shouldn't fail.

As a side note, there is a possibility of a failing hard drive depending on age and other factors. You might do a full hard drive diskcheck plus sector scan to detect any bad sectors and mark them from use. (That could take several hours, so i suggest set it and start it when you go to bed).

They're understaffed and swamped which only get worse every month so it's not that they won't help, they're probably just giving this a low priority.

As for the error, they did have some errors on their servers so that should be fixed, but you never know...

Further tips:

Install Galaxy and any games to any other directories than Program Files or any system folder. (in other words, NEVER into these directories.)
Shutdown or remove any antivirus software you might have.

Did all of that, almost brand new SSD and check comes out with no problems.

Like I said it's just here at GOG/Galaxy app that it wont work for some reason.
installer on Steam works fine, installer on Origin works fine..

and the whole bin 1 isn't there while I just redownloaded it, 2 times, first replaced it that deleted and downloaded it directly into the folder.
The Installer just wont see bin 1 now..

See why I'm getting a bit upset and frustrated? I just cant seem to find a solution.

Isn't an excuse for not giving anyone with the same error no Support.
They get enough money specially from Cyberpunk to hire new people.
To even just sit at home and handle the support page.
Hell I even got an email saying Is this Resolved than well close the case, they never even got to me?
They never replied, not once!

Galaxy app isn't working (hence the E9 error) and why I did the separate file thing...Like its saying on GOG.

Also, I said this before I already did do that I got no anti virus installed, its safe on the firewall and Runned it through administrator..

So yeah....hence my frustration not finding any support nor solutions driving me a bit crazy....

So failing drive is unlikely.

I'm not sure. When in doubt i 'open folder location' from the download and may have to manually move files that were downloade do my /hb folder back to /Downloads or /GoG.

Although the download location could also be a problem depending on where it is at. Most browsers and software are updated so they don't make use of the Program Files, but some older ones might, and those are protected folders by default (need admin access to modify/copy), so i doubt that's the problem.

Out of curiosity do a file search for .bin and see where the files are in directories if you can't find them.

Edit: Also noticed in the file list screenshot that item 26 is a completely different patch ID which matches the exe file (but not 1-25). They may be replacing all the files so it's possible it's not even the same patch.

You're right, so it's no wonder why the offline files won't work. They must have been changed while he downloaded them and then they just remove the older version, that's why it complain about all of them from -1.bin.

They both are downloaded on the same day unlike the others.

I agree, they should do more, but it is what it is...

EDIT: Try to download so they all have the same version.

And the same can actually happens on the Galaxy as well. I just removed everything, rebooted and then installed it again, but there's another trick if one uses Galaxy:
