Really have to pop in here, I agree with quite a bit of the sentiment in here, I usually hate games like this, and I've been really sick of zombie games over the past 10 years or so. However, after trying to look for some new multiplayer game for my friends and I to play, we came across this title and we've just been completely blown away. Its just so MUCH DAMNED FUN, and just when things start to get a bit stale, the next part of the game gets even better than before. The more we figured out and learned in the game, the more we ended up loving it. We're all shocked that we just never heard of this game before, especially being such Co-op junkies. Anyway, getting worried that the "PRE-ORDER" button on the Dying Light 2 website only leads to Steam at the moment, but hopefully that's just temporary. Some of my friends refuse to buy from Steam anymore, so we can really only play if its released on GoG.
Absolutely loved the first one! Hope to see the sequel here soon.

Now that the "Dying Light 2: Stay Human" preorders started, I came looking, and couldn't find it on GOG.

Can wet get to Techland to make this happen?

Thanks for the unnecessary purple dot.
Looks like they added the Epic store as an option for the digital release.. still no GoG option.. someone should reply to @TechlandGames pre-order tweet and ask "what is up?"

It’s likely an exclusivity deal. Dying light didn’t come here on day 1 and dead island games are not here. I don’t think the priority is releasing here.
It would be wonderful if Dying Light 2 would be here, too. I wait for Fallout 4, too.
Techland doesn't really care much for GOG. We get things from them late or not at all, unfortunately.
Techland wont get my money unless its via GOG. i know im just one person and absolutely no impact to their bottom-line but if many people held out.. it would.

Time and time again, it's been shown that most people don't have any willpower whatsoever so I wouldn't count on it.
After they fired Chris Avellone I can't say I'm looking forward to it, the first game was mediocre at best anyway.
Would'nt mind a 2 year delay or more on GOG. So TeLand ,make it happen!

Well, that’s going to be minimum. It seems to be releasing this feb (several years late and after quite a bit of development woes, so that doesn’t bode well). It appears to release on steam and epic with a 5 year plan of updates. Likeliest path forward would be to do at least those 5 years on steam and epic (as it’s far too much trouble to build for GOG and wouldn’t fit with drm free), then maybe look at releasing a complete edition here sometime after. As I mentioned previously, DL was way after, and whilst we have a couple of Juarez game we still don’t have dead island for instance, so even long term I wouldn’t hold out a lot of hope.

For me, the first Dying Light was a good example of great gameplay coupled with one of the worst stories ever.
Despite preferring story over gameplay in video games usually, I really love Dying Light and I was looking forward to the second game, hoping that both elements would be good. Let's just hope they kept what Chris Avellone wrote.

Anyway, I don't think Dying Light 2 will be released here at launch, and probably not even later. Techland is becoming a very shitty studio, going from releasing a swarm of uninteresting DLCs for the first game, to implementing microtransactions in the second one, and they only bothered to maintain parity between Steam and GOG only for a short time.

If we do get it, it will be an incomplete, inferior version of the game compared to the one they will be selling on Steam.
I don't like to be negative, but I don't trust them.
The game just got denuvo, so I guess a GOG release is out of the question for the time being:
