The forum for "Dungeon of the Endless" seems missing...

I'll write here my questions about the GOG "Definitive Edition" , compared to the STEAM "Definitive Edition".

On the GOG game page there is not a list of all the DLC included, so I'll have to guess, looking at the screeshots and the info I found around, what the differences are from the Steam version:

- On one screenshot there's the characters selection screen, and it doesn't contain the "Team Fortress 2" squad, so I suppose that the "Australium DLC" is missing in this version.

- Also I count 19 characters, while on Steam there are 26 (excluding the 2 secret ones)

- It is indicated "Single Player" only, and there's not even a reference about a cooperative multiplayer option using Galaxy... my deduction is that multiplayer is completely removed on this version

Can anyone confirm of give more informations about this ?
Store page suggests the game includes the Rescue Team and Deep Freeze DLC. I wouldn't assume any others are included as they are not explicitly mentioned.
I'm looking at the Steam Page right now as I own it there. and the Definitive Edition lists the exact two DLC's being included as those here at gog. (screenshot 1 is Steam and Screenshot 2 is Gog).

Am I misunderstanding what you're asking?

If it's really like you say, then it is missing all the FREE stuff ?

- Death Gamble (New Merchant)
- Organic Matters (New game mode + New Hero)
- Australium (4 New Heroes + 5 New Items)

I'm just looking for a confirmation from someone that actually has the GOG version.

On Steam I had to manually add those packages to the "already" Definitive Edition, but on GOG I don't see external DLCs...

Multiplayer is greyed out when not using Galaxy and is selectable when running Galaxy. I haven’t tried it yet so I don’t know if it’s crossplay with Steam or not. I also recall seeing at least one character from TF2 (guy with gas mask). Not home at the moment so I can’t check right now.
Thanks for the info, then I suppose it's really everything there.

On Steam after adding the Australium update, the Team Fortress 2 squad was already selectable from the starting screen... so I suppose that in this version all the characters must be found and unlocked first.

Yes, it appears gog is missing the free stuff. But they weren't part of the definitive edition at Steam either, they were just free DLC's that you could choose or not choose to add. I can't see that those are choices here at gog, at least I'm unable to find them.

ADDED: I don't own it here so can't check, but is it possible those free DLC's are listed as goodies on the gog downloads screen? Maybe someone who owns it here could check.

I bought it. The gog version has Bookworm addon, Deep freeze, Rescue team. And TF2 characters.
Okay, see attached pic. I see all the TF2 characters available right from the start. It seems like the pug is available right from the start too - I think the Steam version is initially locked maybe? And this is the organic pod so the organic update is there too.

I've never heard of the Bookworm add on, was that a fan generated mod and part of the Organic Matters DLC?

Can you tell if the digital artbook is available here? That's also a fee dlc at Steam.

I don't know. I'm new to the game and have been waiting years for it to come to Gog.

I don't see the the digital artbook in extras. In the game there's an album tab but it's empty so I don't know if you unlock art or some thing or what?

The Bookworm add on was in the Crystal Edition, and added the Library Pod, so even this seems here.

The Album in the game is part of the game story, it will show pictures when you unlock background stories of heroes, when you find new enemies and when you win the game with every pod.

The soundtrack and the artbook are external to the game on Steam, so I suppose them should be in the bonus material on GOG...

@tremere110 : in your screenshot there's also the dog, I suppose you are using a MOD, good to know it works even on GOG version !

In the Steam version it never appear in the selection screen, it's a secret hero that can be used only when the second hero is randomly selected. and can't be unlocked to stay there (unless modding the game).

If the GOG version has it always selectable is a cool thing.

I'm not using any mods. The pug was just there from the start.

Cool thanks !
Does anyone have issue starting a new game? Clicking on that option does nothing. Thank you.
