I was a happy customer, until CDPR bowed to a communist regime. I really hope they reverse course and put out an apology soon, GOG was my favorite platform to buy PC games.
Well i am, actually

though the drm factor is really something i disapprove of f

the older games available are amazing though

Fallen Haven, Deadlock, Fantasy General, Submarine Titans and many others .... Damn !!
GOG is an extremely far cry from a "DRM free paradise," and not all of its games are DRM-free either.

I'm a happy customer. I don't use Galaxy and play all my games using the offline installers.

I'm definitely glad we've had a surge of great AAA's here recently after a few years of "drought" in the mid 2000's (Deus Ex:HR, Dishonored, Bioshock Infinite, etc, spring to mind). As hardly needs repeating though, after this thread the ultimate question remains "what happens long term if "Epic Games via Galaxy" becomes popular?" Will we see The Talos Principle 2 here on GOG? Or will we hear "well all you need to do is enable 'Epic Games on Galaxy' switch and then buy that. That's our 'GOG release'...". Throw in all the other stuff (outdated offline installers, "bonus content" gated behind Galaxy in single player games, etc), and I'll just mark the "DRM-Free paradise" bit as "Needs work"...

Or not really DRM-free anymore. Unfortunately GOG has relaxed their standards.

Gog is a company; that is to say they are here to make money. They will fill a niche where they believe they will find paying customers, and adjust their approach to maximise gains. I am a paying customer and am satisfied with what they provide me with. When not, I will stop buying new things or stop using the service alltogether.

No. I'm disgusted with GOG and their Winnie-the-Poohradise

Same here! I'm kind of satisfied with GOG, although there are some things they could surely improve on. I've not touched Galaxy in a very long time as well.

Was it because of the winni the pooh joke right why they removed the game i agree with you on this one but boycotting them would be to much at least for me

I own most of them and can play them without a launcher but these bonus items are dumb maybe we can download them in the future too but to be honest i don’t care about this because it doesn’t matter

I think Galaxy is convenient for downloading offline installers and as a library management tool. There's no point in using it to launch games, when you can just place a shortcut on your home screen and keep everything minimalist.
