A very popular role-playing game from Instant Kingdom is getting a formidable content injection today. Apart from the new characters, quests, items, and skills, Driftmoon also receives a massive graphics and interface upgrade, as well as some small bugfixes.

As a result, the title now becomes known as Driftmoon Enhanced Edition and receives a 50% discount on GOG.COM, lasting until 25th May, 1 PM UTC.

nightcraw1er.488: No, it’s not. You can only access the one version presented. You can vote for it here:

Yes, already did that. By the way, to anyone interested:

Wait a minute, this version shouldn't be called Enchanted Edition instead?

Anyway, I'm very happy for the addition of the achievements!
one of my favorite games, really underrated and charming.
Thanks for the linux version! That got me interested in the game.

Finally :)

I guess I'll have to replay it soon.

Yeah GOG, it surely can't be that hard to include the previous, non-enchanted, version in the game's extras... you know, just like it's the case for a few other titles.
Thank you for the free update to EE. Looking forward to playing it.

P.S. I still have a copy of the old version, so may I'll try both a little to get a feel for the changes.

That's a great idea! We'll ask about it.

Wow, very fast response!

Looking forward to seeing more of you guys on the forums and helping to support future games your company developes. :)

Keep up the good work!
Interesting, will check it out!

cheers to the devs!
This is very nice to see, got this as soon as it released, but the interface was clunky and frustrating.

I'm most definitely going to have to go back and give the Enhanced Edition another go.
Well this sucks, my saves were nuked and you cannot control the BLASTING music/sound via settings... I hope I backed up my saves.

EDIT: I did, but curiously enough, the original game saves are untouched, just that the game points to a new save directory; I suppose that means I'll have to start all over again!

ChrisGamer300: I bought this game back when it was new here and still haven't touched it for some reason but i guess it's time to change that.

As for the original verson, is this enhanced edition worse or better for some reason ? if the original is not better then i guess i'm content with the EE only.
i highly doubt it possible to switch them, because new version made with Unity and old was some custom engine. I recall intention from developer to remake game pretty long ago, but i never had idea they actually working on it
oh my, such a lovely game! I recently remembered it and wanted to replay, now is a perfect opportunity to do so! also we want the soundtrack again :D

I can't say I really understand what you're talking about, but why would that mean you have to start over? Can't you just move your savegames to the new directory?
