Dreams. Like a writer's vivid story arc and the painter's muse, they are here and gone before you know it. Write something down here about that crazy dream you just had. If you don't, you'll probably forget all about it in just a few minutes.

So in my dream last night I was hanging out with those dudes from Jackass. We were partying and drinking, and it just wouldn't stop. We had stayed up for days on end without sleep. Then my girlfriend died and we went over to her parents home to give our condolences, and the Jackass boys wouldn't stop farting and making jokes. They were also stealing stuff. After we left I was furious with them about being rude in front of my girlfriend's parents while they were mourning their dead daughter. Then they started calling me a pussy and a faggot and said that we were going to go party some more. Party today. Party forever. I told them to pull over and let me out, but they wouldn't. And then Steve-O started laughing hysterically and drove all of us off the road. My dream ended with me trying to fight them off so that I could escape the car before we all crashed and died. It was terrifying.

There. Now I won't forget the dream. And now I also hate Jackass for being dicks to my dead girlfriend's parents.

Oh... I misinterpreted the title and was about to expound my dreams of becoming the emperor of my own private space station.
This sounds like the sort of dream you'd want to forget.

I know some people keep dream diaries, I never saw the point. If you forget something quickly its not worth remembering much in the first place for me.
Two days ago I saw quite a disturbing dream. In the dream, I learned someone very close to me was some kind of a psychopath, doing hideous crimes without a second thought (I got to witness some), and laughing about them like they were nothing. I got into a moral dilemma that on the other hand I tried to save this person from getting caught (because this person is close to me), but on the other hand I couldn't accept the hideous crimes and the apparent indifference about committing them.

I just recall how I angrily tried to explain this person how one just can't do things like that, but apparently in vain. Like this person couldn't understand what the heck I was talking about, like it was some kind of a big deal or something.

The odd thing is that this person in real life is pretty much as far from a psychopath as one can be, in fact more like over-sensitive and over-empathic, which seems to cause problems in real life (including depression).

I am pretty sure I know what triggered me to seeing such a weird dream: maybe a week ago or so I saw a movie on the TV called "We Need to Talk About Kevin", which was quite a disturbing and powerful movie, about a similar subject matter. Maybe also the recent news/stories about the unhappy childhood of Breivik affected the dream.

God damn it, I feel kinda ashamed of seeing such a "corrupting" dream about someone I know in real life.

Yesterday I dreamt I was conspiring with powerful people in a world where apparently I had magical abilities. Our goal was either hidden or I forgot immediately after I woke up but apparently we were being chased. An informant contacted me and asked me to meet with him immediately as new information had come to light that would be important. Turns out it was a worker at a local (wherever local was) cinema that then decided to give me a free ticket to some currently popular movie. I sit there watching thinking what the hell is this? and after a few minutes I left without even speaking to the informant. I remember there being a portal outside that I had not created but I felt an ally was close by. Shortly after I woke up.

Probably the most disappointing dream I've had to date. I rather dream nightmares than something so completely ordinary.

Great thread btw.

What if you dreamed of the lottery numbers you'd need to hit the $50,000,000 jackpot?

Be they mine or other peoples, I find 99% of dreams are only interesting for about five seconds. XD

Just last night I had the most amazing dream and went down to the kitchen to tell my folks.

"Mom, it was amazing! There was this dog and this cat, and they were sitting on a porch....and that's ummmmmm, it."

The only amazing thing about it was that I found it to be amazing when I was having it. :P

Dreams? Pathetic. Those who aren't meant to live one, are doomed to live INSIDE one, as trapped, obviously... Dreams usually die and scatter before someone's vision, far earlier before said someone dies and scatters, or that someone's vision itself. Dreams can be also bought or sold, some at a very high price... Dreams can give life, or poison it, fuel constructiveness, or conjure your inner chaotic, destructive beast... Dreams; i hate the word itself. Not because it almost "killed" me many times, when i tried to follow one, no... But because doing so left me alive and kicking, ha ha...

Let them be gone. The only dreams i bother remembering are symbolic and prophetic ones, that sometimes i had, before what i saw actually happened, after some time passed... Those called "lucid dreams". But without fail and in all certainty, ALL dreams leave a bitter taste behind. Especially when one person induced them to you; especially a person you thought it was the only thing you needed in life (and it made you bitterly regret that)...

They have good mind-altering drugs in Greece, I see. How're those working out for you? Can you hook the rest of us up?

Compared to his current mental state, I think the mind-altering drugs might actually make him NORMAL for once.
*Actually, I think I will not post that particular dream. :P

You know everything, indeed. He is a funny guy because he is asking something from someone who never got any.
