what did you find so confusing?

SPOILER ALERT!!!
Well at the end the crow sitting on the adult (not old lady) Sagas shoulder looked young like a baby crow which I thought was odd. Was that just my perspective or was it actually younger? But mainly I didn't get the connection between Saga and April. Why did a young April come through the old Sagas portal. Why didn't Saga want April to see crow? Was it just so he didn't get upset or more to it?
What happened to Lux after she joined with her darker self? Did she go back to being part of Zoe? What happened to Helena, she disappeared but we didn't see her destroyed. Also no mention as to what happened to Hannah or the other 2 experiments or did I miss or not connect something.

Maybe they will do the Long Journey home as speculated with April as the main character

Have you played The longest journey? If not, you should, it might clear things up a bit.
As for the other stuff. Helena was always a shady character so she just went away somewhere, that is stated by Gabriel. Hannah was the girl working for Queenie, Faith was the giril trapped in a dream from Dreamfall (again, if you haven't played it, you need to play it lol :D ), and Hope was the girl Zoe saved from a nightmare in the beginning of the game.

I have played the longest journey but so long ago now I think I have forgotten important details. Maybe I should play all 3 games again and it will make more sense.
Hope, yes I remember. I had forgotten her name so did not make the connection. The wardrobe with the tentacles. So Helena was the bad mum who made her use the dreamer all the time! But we still don't know what happened to her or Faith in the end though, do we? Was I not paying attention? Lol!

There will definitely be another game later, I think Dreamfall chapters was popular enough.
But anyway, in the longest journey in the last part of the game when April was running from the cops she went through mysterious door that was closed all the time before and ended up in the room with Saga. And Saga didn't want her to see Crow because it would only confuse her.
And also Saga is a reincarnation of April, that is for sure, and also they're possibly related to the white dragon, which is not all that certain but the first white dragon from the first game called April her daughter and the second white dragon from Dreamfall called her her sister, but that could have just been some metaphorical speech. As for Hope it's probably not like that. Just like Zoe and all the other girls she wasn't really living with Helena, she was probably adopted by someone else. And Faith was already dead but she kept haunting the dreams until she made Zoe stay with her in her dreamworld, so I'd expect that Zoe eventually convinced her to move on.

It doesn't look like there will be another game, unfortunately.

He should put it on crowdfunding again. They made a great game with Chapters. Longer, better looking and overall higher in production value than many of its conteporaries. And I think they made it with only like 25000 backers and some additional funds from Norway, so IMHO it could be successful again.

They should so do it!! They would get the backers for sure Thanks for explaining XYCat. I am one of those people that does not always see every connection lol. I do have a habit of spacing the text sometimes if I feel they are going on a bit. Prob missed something relevant :D Also like you said I prob need to do a replay so the story is fresher in my mind.
