Behold the crappyness! I wondered how I would draw this game. Let the guessing begin. It might be too obvious though.

The Australian-American war!! http://gta.wikia.com/Australian-American_War

Seriously though, the only game I know of that was about the american civil war is Gettysburg, but that's probably not it.
No, that is not the one. Are you thinking of the old Battleground: Gettysburg game?

It's North & South and I'm willing to eat my neighbor's socks if not ;)

Not sure actually. I saw some screenshots in an old gaming mag once :P
I'm intrigued by the rings on the northern flags. Assuming they are northern flags.

History Channel: Civil War the Game: Great Battles
(Yeah, I bought it...)
Guys, it's North & South, you may stop guessing. And if you don't believe me check this :D I really don't want to eat my neighbor's socks. By the smell of him I may tell that would be the last thing in my life ;)

EDIT: I have to pass my turn because most probably I won't be online for some time. So as soon as KrisViking confirms my answer anybody may take may turn :) Have a nice evening/day/morning/night ;)

That is correct. There is no need for you to eat those socks.

Yeah I remembered, mostly incorrectly, that they used the historically inaccurate 1776 flags in the game. They only used the 1776 flag on the Union forts, but the rest used an attempted accurate flag. At least in the NES version which I owned and loved.

I was always hugely into history and still am and when I was a kid I loved American history because I thought it was really interesting and my mother and her parents moved to Sweden from America so I was told a lot by my grandpa.

Thanks for clearing that up. I did look up some relevant flags, and the two U.S. flags immediately following the Civil War had alternate circular star arrangements. Also, the South had a flag with a circular star arrangement before the well-known Dixie flag. Perhaps on a low-res system a circular arrangement looked neatest!

And of course, I'm absorbing Ghorpm's turn:

Resident Evil 4?
This might be a long shot, but it looks kind of like a fremen so I am going to say Dune 2000.

Got some gooood things on sale, Stranger!

You're correct.

Aha, I've never seen that one. I did play through Dune 2 way back when, though. I'll add it to my to-draw list.

Dune 2000 is a revamped Dune 2 basically. It's a pretty decent game. Came out in 1997 or 1998 I think.
