That is Correct! I remember liking the game when I had it on my NES, but I recently played it again and realized it is not very good.

Great taste :) Definitely one of the best turn-based games I have ever played. Kind of a mix between civilization, simcity and Risk.

Funny think is, I think they might actually have used a spray can tool for some of the backgrounds. Fortunately it looks way better than what i did :P

Huh, maybe Alpha Centauri then? Haven't played it yet but I know that it's pretty similar to Civ and the environments have always looked kinda eye cancerous to me on screenshots. :D

Lol. Just took a look at it. Had totally forgotten about that one and indeed, the backgrounds seem to have been partially made with the spray can tool (and not really in a better manner than on s23021536's riddle pic). >.<

Great! Over to you :) I've got a serious deadlock itch now. I want to be the first to build replication plants and disruptor cannons. I also used to stock hugh reserves of ballistic missles
