F4LL0UT: Two and Three made me think of Blood Bowl (the old DOS version) but the other ones don't fit. I'm almost sure I've seen the helmet from the first picture somewhere but I just can't put my finger on it.

I would have loved to have seen your rendition of it though!

The last few games have been straight out of my childhood. This one's moving on to my later teenage years.

Actually it didn't but now that it has been solved I know where I knew the first pic from. I've played some Kid Chameleon last year, got it from the Sega pack on Steam. Pretty cool game, turns out that the only helmet I knew was the first one, though.

That would be Shenmue, wouldn't it. Good times. Remember playing a lot of Dreamcast at a friend's place. The glasses confused me a bit but I'm pretty sure that it's the first QTE from the game when you enter the town for the first time and a kid accidentally shoots the ball at you. Perhaps the first QTE in video game history?

Last time I saw someone take a head shot like that in the World Cup it wasn't from the ball it was from another player. It was the final game if I'm not mistaken.

It is Shenmue! it's the scene where you need to save the hostage kid by brutally smashing a ball into a face.

Great game.

Oh yeah, indeed. Forgot about that scene. Explains why the dude on your pic didn't quite look like... whatever the main guy's name was.
