Nope. Older than Demigod. Terminal Velocity is also wrong, but is much closer in age to the game we are looking for.

Another hint: the entity shown in the middle (the thing in blue) is much better known in a totally different shape. But in the game I am looking for, you meet her in this shape towards the end of the game.

And another hint, which should make it much easier (I hope): while Thief and the water arrow is not the correct answer, it comes at least from the same studio as the game we are looking for.

Edit: and I just searched for a screenshot of the game online and found out that the white background was probably misleading. Sorry. Here's one with a black background, as it was in the game:

Yes! Finally. It is the cyberspace in System Shock 1 where you confront Shodan (yes, this is how she looks in Cyberspace when you fight her in this game)

If the drawing is accurate it's not poker. I'm thinking pinochle or bridge.
