Never played Battle Bugs but "Monster Bug Wars" is one of the greatest shows ever. I think I'll have to look into this. Is it an online game? How are the specs for it?

Well... the game is from early 90s so the only multiplayer option I would expect is hot-seat (and I believe it has it).

Ah HA! I looked up Battle Bugs and got a completely different game that was just realeased. Thanks for the clarification and link. I actually don't want MP so if I can get it running this should be cool to toy around with.

Battle Bugs is a very nice turned based tactical strategy game but it has some flaws - it's not well balanced and absolutely not fair but very funny and entertaining. Just watch those screenshots: briefing describing a pizza slice. Priceless

Actually while I've been hanging out in here I downloaded it and it plays pretty well.

And yes there were A LOT of Army Man games. Several years ago I picked up a the 'War Chest' of AM 1, 2, Toys In Space, Sarges Heroes, Air Attack, Air Tactics, and AM World War. As a bonus they through in Army Men RTS which is actually a GREAT game though it's very short.
