So this is coming out tomorrow (11/03/2015) on Steam and DRM-free on Humble.

There was a cancelled GOG Twitch stream last week (on Tuesday I believe) that was supposed to follow release, however the devs briefly delayed the game and now it's set to come out tomorrow.

Anyone, maybe a backer, know if it's coming out here tomorrow? Would definitely be cool to have this here; nice looking action-RPG roguelike.

The website have every single icon except gOg?

edit - anyway, it is DRM free via humble, and sold directly from the devs via widget.

I noticed that too. But it does say 'pre-order' and beings that it's not available for pre-order here, maybe it'll see release and that'll change on their webpage.

Either way, there is the Humble version if need be.
I do love the graphic style, but gameplay-wise, its not that appealing to me.
Maybe Ill get it when it gets a discount.

Looks ok, although it does look to have ripped everything else off.

Could you clarify what that means. I have seen it before, does that require you to have a Humble account or something, or do you just purchase via their website and download a drm free file which requires nothing further (you will guess that I have zero faith in these things).

it appears in your Humble library. And if it is DRM free, it should not require anything further.

edit- and you can download directly via the link given, and does not require an account. Not sure how you are going to deal with updates, re-downloads and so on. I think it is safer to have an humble account for these things.

I couldn't find it on Steam, I even looked in the upcoming releases tab but nothing. Are you sure it will be out tomorrow?

Thanks. Will probably leave it for the moment then.

you do realise that for the DRM free games, there is no difference between gOg games and Humble games... you do after all need an account for gOg games also.

Playstation Network announced that Dragon Fin Soup will be a "freebie" for PSN Plus members in November; so that would seem to confirm early November launch (at least on consoles).

Oh, I was just surprised by the fact that it hasn't been up in Steam for preorders yet or in the upcoming section, mainly because I'd like to wishlist it so that I can remember it for later reference. I guess I'll have to favorite this thread for now.

Yes, but firstly I don't need another account out there, nor another possible source. Secondly I have no interest in supporting humble, now they are principally steam key resellers.

You will need to give them an e-mail address to which they'll mail a link to a download page. That's it.

The download page then works as an account-lite and does receive updates. If you want, you can later claim it and move the games to an account, but that's optional. If you only plan to get one thing, it's a bit of overkill.

EDIT: obviously I'm only talking about their DRM-free stuff.

I find this all very strange... I prefer to support the developers of the game, not any random store that sells it... For a sale on gOg you give 70% to the developer, and a sale through the widget gives them 95%.

But I guess it is a matter of priority - the storefront or the developer. Your choice, I guess. But it is one of those choices I just don't understand, and I think I never will.

in that regard Humble is even less DRM than gOg, as for gOg you need an account. gOg is DRM'd delivery, but Humble has the option for DRM-free delivery :)

BTMicro has the same system.
