I'm a backer, and the options made available to me (thanks for reminding me about this) were sony platforms, steam or DRM-free. No explicit mention as to where that DRM-free copy would be on the survey, but it mentiones humble on the update and nothing about GOG.

nightcraw1er.488: Thanks. Will probably leave it for the moment then.

amok: you do realise that for the DRM free games, there is no difference between gOg games and Humble games... you do after all need an account for gOg games also.
Typically GOG works on the packaging while humble doesn't, which is why I prefer GOG when given the option.

I prefer GOG's style of executable to Humble's (most of the time) zip files. Feels 'tighter.'

amok: I find this all very strange... I prefer to support the developers of the game, not any random store that sells it... For a sale on gOg you give 70% to the developer, and a sale through the widget gives them 95%.

But I guess it is a matter of priority - the storefront or the developer. Your choice, I guess. But it is one of those choices I just don't understand, and I think I never will.
Its not that I don't want to support the developers, its just that I don't support (maybe not the right word - trust) steam key reseller websites, and I have nothing to do with them. Much the same as when ShinyLoot went all steam key reseller. If GOG started selling steam keys (I know they do their own keys and I stay away from those too), I would leave here. If the seller sold it via their own store, say like the chaps who do Hegemony (apart from their new one, gits!) do, I would be ok creating an email/pword account to download the game.

Take another example, I brought the comic book lot sometime back from groupees, don't know why, just got caught up I suppose, anyways, another account to administer, more emails about how I can build a greenlight bundle, or how many steam only games they have on that week. I just don't need it.
Pretty sure i backed this ($5) so i'd love to see how it turned out.

Same. I also like that GOG tells you if your OS can run the game, because they test it beforehand. I'm in the process of refunding a game because it persistently crashes, the dev has no solution, and I think it's my 'fantastic' Win 10 system. Sometimes I've bought DRM free titles on Humble and they decide to leave out the steam.dll or something, so I have to harass the developer that the game doesn't work because of it lol.
It is up now.

I followed it on Steam and I have seen the devs post that Humble version has been updated to 1.02 as well.
