Elmofongo: Netflix is missing Star Trek Final Frontier, First Contact, and Insurrection despite having every other Star Trek series and movies :(
including tas ?

jacobmarner: But seriously, what's up with the his scarf? That is just silly.

Telika: Apparently they asked a BBC dressmaker to craft him a cool eccentric scarf, and brought her many wool samples of many colours so that she'd be free to make the scarf she wishes.

She misunderstood, and assumed she was supposed to use ALL the wool that had been brought to her. And so she designed that monster. Everybody was horrified by the unfortunate result, but still, they decided it was crazy anough for a mad gallifrean, so thes went along with it. Became iconic.
Cool. But I still think it was too silly. If I recall correctly The Master (a villain from that era) tripped in it at least twice. And it was used to put out a fire once.

Netflix UK has First Contact and Insurrection if I remember correctly if you're stuck.

Surprisingly that, Insurrection and Generations are the only Star Trek stuff on Netflix UK, including the series. So it could be worse :P

I can recommend unlocator.com. It is a reliable why of bypassing region locks for Netflix and Hulu Plus, among others. And no, it is not illegal. For Netflix there is dropdown for region choice. And it even works on tablets, playstations, xbox, phones and smart TVs.

Progress note: That was season 19 done. On to season 20.

Season 20 done. On to season 21.

At this rate all 1000 episodes will be done in no time.
Funny. I've just started myself the very first season of Doctor Who classics, planning on watching everything if I like it.

So far, I've only watched the two first episodes, the next one will be "The Forest of Fear".

Special effects are non-existent so far, but I don't care. I know next to nothing about Doctor Who but I was quite intrigued by its cult following. So I thought I might give it a try! ^_^

Awesome! A fellow fan. For the classic and modern main series this is my master list of episodes:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Doctor_Who_serials

When you get to the first lost episodes (Marco Polo in season 1) and have to watch slide show reconstructions it takes some dedication. But hang out there - it is important to get the full story.
Nice ! Thanks for the link, that'll make things easier! ^_^

And for the other doctor who fans out there. Playinjector just launched a bundle that include the Doctor Who Adventure Game. http://www.playinjector.com/bundlestore

I don't know. I haven't played them. Have anybody else here tried them?

Jesus, that's a (hilariously) bad name....

So how far are you?

I just completed season 21. On to season 22. So I just saw the first story with the 6th doctor (Colin Baker). Not very good - the Doctor is an unsympathetic wanker so far. Does anybody here knows if it continues like that?
