I just bought the might & magic collection and it shows them in my account but how do I download them to my computer or do I?

Click the game box and you'll get a page with links to download the installer and any extras. See attached image.

You could download the beta version of GOG Galaxy, which will sort of install and manage your GOG games for you. Well, in theory, anyway -- you'll notice I said it's a beta version. Not all features are fully implemented yet, and there might be some problems. But if you only have the Might and Magic six-pack thing right now, it would probably be simplest to just download the game from your library: click 'Account' on the GOG site header across the top of your browser window (toward the right), then, as Maighstir said, click the game box for whatever specific game you wish to download, then click on the file under 'Game Downloads' and confirm the download. (Also note that a majority of the games here offer at least one or two extras -- visible under 'Game Goodies' in each game's "box" on you virtual shelf. You may as well download any and all of these that catch your interest as long as you're downloading your game. =) )

Also, since you're into the oldies, you might want to take a look at the free games available here. There should be seven already in your library (there were when I joined, anyway), and there are six more (plus a couple non-game items + a couple "movies"); some of these are quite decent.

Sorry if this is more info than you needed. Any other questions, ask. And welcome to GOG. =)
1. Click game picture

2. Either download Galaxy or Select the game download under, "Game Downloads" underneath it.

OK I can download the games. I have two problems:
1. As already stated all games download into a DosBox small window. How do I get it to be larger. I am using a 65" HDMI 4K
TV for a monitor if that makes a difference.
2. Starting with game six it says that direct draw failed. I don't even know if I have it but if I need to download that file how do I do that?

thanks

This thread is about a direct draw proble with Might and Magic 7, but it might help you as well:

And here's a link to GOG's Might and Magic forum. It contains lots of useful information about the games and will be the best place for getting answers to any kind of question related with the series:

1. Alt + Enter should switch your DOSBox window to fullscreen -- though, since these are not widescreen games, the image might be stretched to fit the screen; if this is the case (and assuming it bothers you), you'll probably have to change a setting in your graphics card's configuration program (how to do this varies by manufacturer and model, but the option is often called something like "preserve aspect ratio").

2. Usually that message means you don't have the right version of DirectX installed -- Might and Magic VI is a Windows game, and -- being pretty old -- requires an older version of DirectX to run: DirectX 9, in this case. (Don't worry, installing this won't do anything to any newer versions you have.)

As to your friend request, I don't really friend people or use chat much. Thanks, though. : )
