Recently I bought Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. I've been stuck at downloading it for about a day now, with the download hanging at 92%. Disc usage is nill and the download nearly stops. Galaxy is whitelisted, antivirus has been both on and off. All running as admin. Computer restarted several times, left overnight.

Beyond a refund, anything else I can do?

When the download stops at 92 etc, probably it is allocating somehing, moving archives or a configuration of any kind. This is specially notable in pretty big games. Let it finish by itself. Indeed it acts as the installation hanged, and it can take its time, pretty long. But my advise is that you let the game end by itself. It is the most probable.

For what I see in the forum it's a bug, you can still launch the game from the directory without problems! Hope it helps until they fix it.

So cloud saves won't work then, right? If that's the case I may refund and get a steam copy as the last game involved me remaking and restarting quickly.

No, unlease you have a offline copy on your computer. I mean, you can ask for a refound that will take 15 days to add process the payment, or wait for a fix that probably will arrive today or tomorrow. It's something quite new releated to the latest update.

Why would you refund if cloud saves do not work? You can back up your saves very easily, They are located in:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\Saved Games

You can make as many saves as you want, copy them in an out, keep them for the future, give them to others, copy to cloud drives etc. Full and total power in your hands. Why give all that up for some half assed bit of software to do it for you, lock you into their platform, and remove most options for managing them??
Alright guys, gog posted this new article about fixing this issue with 4 different methods. Nothing helped me personally and THE only thing that actually helped with this issue is downloading the game on another PC/Laptop and then distributing it to your station. However, I can understand that it's quite the quest to do :D it's just for the people who cannot refund anymore and cannot play it due to this problem
Wait, so this is a problem that has existed for literally years? And it has not been fixed, and instead in in the midst of the biggest release of the year they posted an article with some cumbersome, ultimately unhelpful workarounds?

Peak GOG right here.
