I bought the complete Homeworld collection including all DLC's and soundtracks. I have been successfull in installing only Emergence. Both Deserts of Kharak and Homeworld Collection display 'Installation failed: Disk access problem'
Any advice in solving this cluster f..k ?

Did you install them to Windows folders? Always install any software outside of Program Files/(x86) folders. Create a folder called c:\games or something and install there. Main cause of PC gaming issues.
Are you using Galaxy? If so report a Galaxy issue (I don't use it so can't help there), try installing the game outside windows folders using the files downloaded via browser.
If there are other problems, post some definitions of the issues, what your running/doing etc. or post to Support.
