Jenni: If I remember correctly from the posts during the site redesign, even though Telltale doesn't sell third party games anymore they'll add any third party game you bought from their site back to your account if you e-mail them at support@telltalegames.com

aye - well as we replaced ninja thread with a newer format, we had to take it into account as there were users well known for exploiting gog (and other platforms) freebies to enable them to appear better in the community and profit as a result.
one example once had 10,000 of those blackwell steam keys.

Grargar: Don't confuse Secret of Monkey Island with Tales of Monkey Island. Telltale had nothing to do with the former.
If I had kids, I would more easily confused between THEM, than I would from a Monkey Island game. ;)

JK (at least the first one) is not that terrible, by the way. It's not a masterpiece, but there are far worse games out there :)

Very likely there will be at least two more runs of each game, so you should have a further chance. It sold well but not lightning-quick like some titles, so if you're around there'll be time to grab it.
