Qbix: We have saved all game fixes for the upcoming 0.75 release, which will enter regression testing soon. This release has been created so you can go back to 0.74-2, in case we happen to break your favourite game in 0.75.
If I can request one feature; add more scaling options, like 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, etc... I think 3x is maximum in 0.74, which is not enough to fill the screen on new high resolution monitors with pixel perfect scaling.

Qbix: We have released a maintenance release for DOSBox 0.74, which solves the following problems:

Windows: Fix auto/max cycles algorithm on Windows 7, which helps with stuttering audio.
Mac OS X: Bring a 64 bit version and improve performance.
Linux: Fix the 64bit dynrec cpu core and a lot of compilation problems. Add patches for the WINE Team.

The game compatibility should be identical to 0.74.

Cool! is it compatible with Daum's version can I just copy the files over, Could you also add emulated Glide support and pentium/pentium II support for use with D-fend reloaded

also could you add support for a native install of windows 95! I hope I'm not asking too much.

This question makes no sense.
Use pcem and no DOS games require a penium.
Use pcem.

DOSBox is about ease of use. If DOSBox did officially support Windows 95 it would not be using the OS filesystem and would require a legal copy of Windows 95. As shown with unofficial builds 9x works on DOSBox but it's called DOSBox for a reason. pcem is the best solution for 9x for now.

phaolo: DOSbox 0.75 !?
Is this real life? :P

I wonder what GOG will do about it though.. probably they won't update it in the installers, sadly.

Ganni1987: Unless something is broken for a particular game, I don't think it's necessary to update all the games to the latest version.
Well, this version should perform noticeably better on windows 7, which might be a reason in itself to consider updating a specific game.

Thanks cool PcEM got it!
we need a general DOSBox thread, instead of separate ones for each version

Great request!
Though I fear that few people care about it, since graphic card and monitor manufacturers haven't even implemented pixel perfect scaling...

Yeah the multiple threads for official dosbox versions are overwhelming.
Win 7,Betrayal at Krondor's sound is broken for me.

You can turn on "GPU scaling" in your control panel and then even in fullscreen mode the game renders pixel perfectly on your monitor, it doesn't stretch or filter the image, but keeps the original size.

But if you have a 1440p or 4K monitor, something like (320x200)x3 gives you just 960x600, and it's just a tiny rectangle in the middle of your monitor, that is why larger scaling factors are needed.

Thank you, Qbix.

Just out of curiosity, are there any plans of migrating the official DOSBox to SDL2?
