JudasIscariot: Brutal DOOM, hands down :D
Are you guys going to support Doom on Linux? Not that it's a particularly big deal, between the source ports and DOS Box, I'm sure it's easy enough for us to do on our own.

It would just be kind of nice to have things set up ahead of time.

Or maybe not, you guys don't use source ports, and most interest is probably going to be for that anyways.

JudasIscariot: Better yet, you may see some streams that will highlight those mods/source ports a lot better than text ever will :) All that is up to the individual streamers, of course, so no guarantees that any of this may actually happen :)

It's still the same old levels, just the enemies get a bit of a facelift and the DOOM guy can pull off finishing moves :D
Sadly, I don't have time to watch the streams. And I thought Brutal Doom had new levels altogether? From what I saw in videos, they didn't look familiar.

Random_Coffee: I like GZDoom because the gameplay is unchanged, it has support for higher resolutions, and the graphics are true to the original (but smooth-looking, no pixel-flickering).
Guess I'll give it a try.

Like I said, it's up to the streamers if they wish to do so, so not 100% guaranteed :) Restating this because I want no misunderstandings :)

No worries there. Realistically, it's probably not a good use of resources when most people are probably going to want to use source ports anyways.

Well no. But if not now then when? I think this will be the best opportunity possible. So I'm optimistic.

I don't know, depends on how things are looking in our stream schedule :)
I asked Judas to expand the topic title, since we already had a mention of Aliens TC.

Thanks, Judas

Yes. And weapon zoom. And really cool explodey death fun.

toxicTom: Is the PSOne music better than GMIDI with a good sound library?
http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/Sony_PlayStation -> Music section

"Playstation Doom's themes include melancholy music, howling wind, the cries of babies, distorted voices and hoarse breathing" ;)
