Hi All,

Have any of you tried this game on Steam? I see the minimum specs have OS Windows 10 as a requirement. Do you know if it is "possible" (somehow) to run the game under Windows 7?

I know about Doom 64 EX mod for N64.rom, it runs well on my PC. How is the official game on Steam in comparison to this mod?

Nevermind.
Answering my own question: it's possible to run this game on Windows 7 (x64), I just bought and checked the game.

However unofficial mod Doom 64 EX runs much smoother than Steam game, both work under the same KEX engine.

Steam version have double DRM check with Bethesda Network, obviously it's needed for... single player mode only game. There are no mouselook and jumping which is fine with me but still. Movement in the game have millisecond lagging for some reason (as per Steam forums it's my problem, others have no issue). Also you can't skip the intro movies, you should tweak the game by yourself: delete/rename the files in <movies> folder.

EDIT: The input lag was cured by turning off VSync (because I have GeForce force VSync) and changing Video API from Vulkan to DirectX11 just in case.

Just click cancel to that, and it will not ask you again. Its not needed to login or anything to play it. I've read on the Steam forums that the game will run without Steam. (Though i've not tested that.)

It's not asking me anything, just auto login each time. A bit annoying to see Bethesda icon and wait for a loading screen. I'll check your solution and see if it helps.

When I first launched it I got a login box appear for Bethesda. I just clicked cancel (didn't login) and didn't get it again.
