Hello again guys.
About a month ago i was here asking for help because i had been scammed for Cyberpunk 2077.
I sent in an request to GOG the 25. December and havent gotten an answear yet. Does it usually take this long?
I do not wont you to take this as me asking for someone to review it, im just wondering if people are experiencing the same thing as i am right now and that it is normal.

Thank you for reading and have a nice weekend!

No, but how often do you release a product two years before it's ready, and during the middle of several sales, while having unoptimized hiring practices that would make even the most isolationist among them blush?

yeah, unfortunately long waits for CP2077 refunds are the norm. I suspect GOG is doing it on purpose to allow people time to change their minds as new updates come in.
A few years ago they took very little. To date, under the covid excuse, they take a lot of time to respond to tickets (not just refund requests). Working remotely myself, I know that my work hasn't changed that much and I can therefore say that the covid story is an excuse for late reply to tickets (they're not the only ones using this excuse). covid of course is a real problem, but not for those that can actually work remotely like them.
Writing in the forum is a good idea, sooner or later they should prioritize you and solve your problem.

Okay, but here's the thing. Do we even have any proof that GOG is letting people work remote? The workflow/rate of response seems to suggest that they've not, (pure speculation/tinfoil time) and it'd seem a lot of employees left as if they were told, "Come in or be fired".

Poland is not USA.

XYCat: Poland is not USA.
Yes, that's correct. The USA typically doesn't include lines like this: "Please be informed that we reserve the right to contact only selected applicants. The hired individual will need to work in-house, in our office based in Warsaw, Poland." for roles which are meant for country leads for places like France.

Thanks for the relevant story.

Okay, it seems I have to explain this every time I slide that out.

What about being a country lead, or part of the support team even remotely implies the absolute for a physical presence?

what about home office in poland (or anywhere in Europe) in January 2021 implies the absolute relevance of a cool story about "country leads for places like France"?

It does not. In a time long past you'd get your refund inside 48h of request.

Yes. Unfortunately. People are experiencing the same thing. Presumably hundreds of thousands of similary screwed over and unhappy customers across platforms. If not more.

Last year a new term was coined: 'New normal'. I think that fits in for this situation as well.

Unfortunately yes at the moment (in a normal situation only take between 12-24hs), after Cyberpunk 2077 and the winter sale they are trying to normalize the service, even hiring new people, but is human work so it will take some time, they are also asking to close the tickets if yiu send more than one for the same issue to help decongest the support service!!! Just wait a little more, they will reach you and solve your problem!

Nowadays, it is "normal". Various users still are waiting for a refund.
