Iron harvest works on win 7

version tested: 1.4.8.2986 rev 58254

Note there is a minor isssue with the pre-rendered cutscenes, there is apparently a unity engine codec issue which prevents them from playing ingame and instead blacksreens, you can play them normally out of the game from the folder. This was not an issue in the demo version.

There is a workaround from steam users to unlock missions in the .usr file to bypass any softlocking from non playing cutscenes (ive only seen the tutorial mission block this way) see post 89: https://steamcommunity.com/app/826630/discussions/0/2788243451442629263/?ctp=6#c4208119548513467800

slightly unrelated but has anyone else found galaxy multiplayer suddenly stopped working? the games i have that use it for multiplayer say variations of "galaxy not running" and the overlay says token not found status 403. not sure if its an issue for me or a more widespread problem.

Dying Light's co-op stopped working over a year ago with Windows 7, at the time there was no new update released, so the problem almost certainly was on the server side. Unfortunately I never got answer to my question about which servers were behind the change, GOG's or the developer's, but when I had finally gotten the chance to also verify that even the "LAN mode" was not working, the developer's support interestingly admitted that it may have never worked at all, as if there was no problem at having misleadingly kept that as an option in the game all these years...

I tried to play the multiplayer mode of Arkanoid - Eternal Battle last year and it didn't work with Windows 7.
The problem i'm experiencing doesn't seem to be an individual game but galaxy itself, in every game singleplayer or otherwise the overlay looks to have been messed up, instead of showing my friends list ingame it looks empty with tooltips and has that "token not found" code in the main box. I'm thinking either some file is corrupted somewhere or some kind of network issue, maybe a bad IP/DNS block?

I'm guessing whatever it is prevents galaxy from verifying accounts, for example in the game wartales it used to say on the menu "Connected as MJVandershonk" but now it just says "Connected as ", In steel division 2 I used to be able to login to my eugen account but now when I try it says "gog galaxy is not running".

Do you know/remember when your problems started?

June 4th, started iron harvest off and the main menu said there was "no platform user". I figured it was probably a server outage but come the thursday when i wanted to play wartales with my brother it had the same issues. I was just wondering if anyone else in the thread had similar issues with galaxy and the overlay.

That's VERY interesting.

I do not know if this is related but I use GOG Galaxy for only one game, Gwent, and it is installed on machine with Windows 7. Since exactly the same day Gwent can not connect to its servers but I can see on Twitch that other users can play/stream Gwent without any issues. Gwent was still able to connect to its servers on Tuesday's morning around 11am, but later that day, around 5pm, the problem started and lasts till today.

I think it might be, i recall hearing GWENT uses galaxy for multiplayer. Is your overlay also broken? the friends list is missing from mine but is there on the main program.

I don't think that's a general Windows 7 problem. Friendlist and other stuff is fine for me.

As I said I use Galaxy only to start Gwent (and I am closing the client after starting the game) so I am not some "experienced" user of Galaxy, but on Galaxy's Gwent game page everything looks good (the same as before that issue) for me.

It's just Gwent, the game itself.

Redout 2 version 7c9c7c-S-D-P from Epic Game Store does not run on Windows 7 because of DLL incompatibility.
----I don't know if anyone has already post this. If so, my bad.----

Last Hope Bunker: Zombie Survival (ver 107 offline installers)
- Works on Windows 7 Pro without any modifications. I also didn't have to change anything in the options once the game was started.

Notes:
I installed it last night and game seems to work on my offline Win7 Pro SSD w/o any issues to game speed, graphics, sounds, music or anything else that I can see or hear. Also, there were no internet connection requirements, in case anyone was wondering. =P

Side Note #1:
- According to one user, Xbox controllers seem to work with it, though I need to test this myself. (game page does not list controllers)

Side Note #2:
- The game saves in the AppData (LocalLow I think) and some the files are actually human readable, including the inventory files. This file seems to include current/max for items/ammo, etc. (untested by me, since I didn't modify anything and have no such plans; but decided to share this info for those that do wish to test it)
.
Noreya: The Gold Project
-Unless a workaround is foud, does not run by default on Windows 7 because of DLL incompatibility (requires DiscardVirtualMemory of KERNEL32).

Edit: Please see post #351 of this thread.

Sovereign Syndicate:
-Functions normally.

"Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic" is OK for Seven.

In game folder, you will can see an executable for 7.

Despite is name it's a 64 bits executable.

Is your problem fixed already or it still does exist?
