blotunga: And they were good. But now steam has more awesome bundles with great discounts. Ie: the Panzer Corps bundle above. On gog even the grand campaign DLC alone is more expensive than that whole bundle
We get DRM free editions, though, which fully or near fully equalizes the value differences in many cases.
Also for those that want such deals they can either "bite the bullet" and buy on steam/epic or wait patiently for them to come here.

A bit of a joke on the issue with a holiday theme ala a scene from A Christmas Carol: (Note I do this to joke, so if anyone is offended I apologize)
Scrooge(Me): Are there no steam copies?
Charity Workers(some users on Gog): Plenty of steam copies.
Scrooge: Are there no Epic sales and giveaways?
Charity Workers: There are.
Scrooge: Those who want their games so badly should go there, then.
Charity Workers: Many won't go there, and some would rather not play games ever again.
Scrooge: If they choose to do so then they should do it and be quiet about it, and decrease the surplus protesting on the forums.

timppu: GOG certainly has done similar bundling with many other games, e.g. I was miffed when GOG released Kingdom Come: Royal Edition which included all the DLCs too, for a cheaper bundle price. I had already bought the base game + most of the DLCs separately, and I wouldn't get any discount to "upgrade" to the Royal Edition, but instead I'd have to pay the full price for Royal Edition (including the base game + DLCs I already had on GOG), OR buy the missing DLCs separately (which still does cost quite much).
And that is why people should be patient or be prepared for a better deal/more DLC to come along if they buy early.

nightcraw1er.488: Yep, I also remember a time when goodies, manuals, most of the game, was not sold separately. A time before bloated galaxy filled installers. But that was then...
1. We often still get such extras with older games(unless they aren't available to Gog or allowed to be posted on site by the rights holders) and some newer games as well(also sometimes past releases years back didn't have all extras either for various reasons).
2. Most games do not cut out most(over 50%) of the game for such DLC....that is a slight exaggeration.

M3troid: I hate those infinite editions for certain games. This only makes me confused about what is in fact the most complete version.
