jamyskis: I do download cracks out of convenience for disc games, but it's usually no skin off my back if one isn't available.
Where these games have CD or DVD copy protection that doesn't work on modern PCs (e.g. StarForce, SafeDisc), cracks are almost essential. I do have a couple of games with non-functional copy protection on modern Windows versions with no crack available - I end up having to use an older Athlon 1800 with dual-boot Win98/WinXP for them.
timppu: while DOS era CD-games are very easy to "imaginaze", apparently they don't have much of any copy protection.
jamyskis: I do the same with games running in DOSBox, especially as it's easy to mount the ISO in DOSBox.
tinyE: I hope that doesn't get me in trouble here.
jamyskis: What were all the cop cars doing outside your hotel then?
B) I don't think there are any cop cars up here. ;P
