"5cm per Second" stands at the top alone for me. It's also a rare case of me liking an anime movie.

Well, depending on perspective some people may find it a feel-bad movie, too, I guess.
Lord of the Ring: Return of the King
Equilibrium
The Patriot
Iron Man
Independence Day
Die Hard
It is A Good Day to Die Hard (Die Hard 5)
Clash of the Titans (the original)
The Expendables trilogy
Boondock Saints 1 & 2
The Outlaw Josey Wales

There are a couple of others but I cannot name them right now. Plus, it depends on what gets considered "feel-good."
Tokyo Godfathers
The Secret World of Arriety
Labyrinth
Big Fish
Hellboy 2
Beauty and the Beast
The Incredibles

Most episodes of Hogan's Heroes will also do the trick.

Matewis: As in a film that leaves you feeling like a million bucks by the time the credits start to roll, and which you then sit through to listening to the parting music.
So many movies out there... many of them, I love.

Off the top of my head, maybe:

Blade Runner
Pulp Fiction
Looper
The Drop
100 Foot Journey
Equilibrium
The First Matrix Movie
Nightcrawler (I know its weird, but it cracks me up... the protagonist feels like an unhinged entrepreneur/sales rep hybrid)
Watchmen
The Lives of Others
Monsieur Lazhar
The First Kickass Movie
Y Tu Mama Tambien
Philomena
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
A Fish Called Wanda

<Probably many others if I spend more time thinking about it>

In terms of TV series, I'd add:

Game of Thrones
True Detectives (first season)
Babylon 5
Last Airbender Cartoons

Unlike movies, many TV series that start great (X-Files, True Blood, Dexter, House, etc) can outlast their welcome, ultimately leaving a bad taste in your mouth unfortunately.

bad_fur_day1: Silence of the Lambs... weird I know. .
Hannibal.
A Nightmare on Elm Street.
The entire Saw series.
I'm surprised you didn't mention A Serbian film too along with those titles as feel-good movie. :P
3 idiots
The Fifth Element
tinyE, you forgot The Elephant Man on your list (that and Leaving Las Vegas are the two most depressing movies that I know)

Willow
The Princess Bride
The Incredibles

loads more

Oh yes definitely. Somebody would have no other recourse than to use physical force to tear me away from the credits' ending theme. Unless it's during the day. Blade Runner's soundtrack just doesn't sound right while the sun's out :P

I tried getting into Babylon 5 but was unable. As for X-Files, there are several incredibly weak episodes yes, but those that deal with the meta story are generally very good or even excellent. I wouldn't mind going on an X-files marathon watching only those episodes, with good independent episodes mixed in (liver eating guy, glowing green forest insects etc.)

In case you missed my post, I did wind up seeing Cool Hand Luke. It was incredible.

What can I say, my parents let me watch too many violent movies as a child. :P

"What we've got here is failure to communicate..."
Princess Mononoke (ENG Dub is actually excellent, also Keith David is a BOSS)

Lupin III The Castle of Cagliostro . A good hearted caper as only done by our loveable monkey like thief.

Fantasia
. I was super young when I saw this and it must have started my love of classical music.
Just to name a few:

-The Life of Brian

-The Princess Bride

-Monty Python and the Holy Grail

-Amanece, que no es poco

-Estomago

-Pulp Fiction
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
Pride and Prejudice
Jane Eyre (the version starring George C Scott)
Sense and Sensibility
To Wong Foo
The Birdcage
Bram Stoker's Dracula (weird, I know)
Now that I think about it, I'd add Firefly to my list.

Babylon 5 is inconsistent. It can be wooden/awkward at times (I think the showrunner had some great ideas, but I don't think he's a born writer, he can't always fill the gaps between moments well), but the best moments of the show will be seared into your brain forever.

for X-Files, I guess many of the episodes are pretty standalone, so it's not so bad to watch those by themselves.

Actually I did see that, and was wanting to respond, I've just been busy! Very glad you liked it so much!
