And how is his/her video game || toy-line presence? Sufficient?

I do have a favorite, and unless your favorite is Snake Eyes, my favorite ninja will wipe the floor with yours >:D During the great tv room war and the various marula tree wars of the mid nineties, Snake Eyes managed to evade and fight off entire armies of invisible mutant monster soldiers!

He's the only reason I went to see those pretty awful, for the most part, GI Joe films. Thankfully you only need a few minutes of awesome Snake Eyes action to redeem an entire film.

As for gaming, Snake Eyes is one of the characters in the GI Joe nes games and the one character I always have on my team. With his powerful melee attack, insane grenade throwing speed and insane jumping height he's the most fun to use on each of the game's missions.

I wouldn't mind at all for a big budget squad based gi joe game with sandbox-ish puzzle-like levels where you have to use a custom team of gi joes and their special abilities to crack cobra strongholds.
Yeah, like that's ever going to happen :P

But enough about Snake Eyes, let's hear about your favorite ninja. How would you prepare a eulogy for said ninja's funeral after his/hers deadly run in with Snake Eyes?
Dragon Ninja. He kidnapped President Ronnie.
Turtles!
The Last Ninja
Well, there's cecil, superstande, mike_cesara....

Perhaps the only ninja that has a chance of surviving a Snake Eyes encounter...
The Master.

Because who wouldn`t enjoy watching a 90 year old being a ninja.

P.S. May not actually be 90, but as I was waaaaaay younger at the time, he seemed like it.
Still, it was entertaining enough.

In Wizardry Gaiden 3/4 (and DIMGUIL), Fairy Ninjas are quite nice, as they can indeed use the best Ninja weapons and are fast enough to always go before the enemies. (The speed is especially nice when you need to cast KADIOS to heal someone before that character gets killed.)

There are, however, 2 major downsides: Low HP growth (because Fairies have low Vitality, and that affects the stat caps), and slow leveling, meaning it may take a long time before they can hit enemies in the Dragon's Cave.

In Wizardry 6, I believe they aren't really useful, and in Wizardry 7/8, they are useless until you get a certain powerful cursed weapon dropped by a specific NPC that happens to only be usable by this specific race/class combination.
My favorite ninja is the "Ask a Ninja" guy. I know this is probably not what you mean, but this guy is very funny, especially in some older videos.
This is one of better videos: "Ninja colds"

p.s. I think he would read eulogy at the Snake Eyes fun-eral :) and after that everybody present would die from fun.

He doesn't even have to do that. Snake Eyes killed him in the 1st movie and he showed up in the 2nd.

Huh? :P
Etrian Odyssey 3 has great Ninjas, who can split themselves up, create decoys who the enemies will kill (boosting everyone's Limit meter and triggering the Monk's Blood Return), and use skills (including the non-combat healing skill First Aid) for minimal TP cost. Oh, and they are also good at dodging enemy attacks and they regain TP while doing so.
Ebisumaru

(For the record that's how I picture myself TinyE :)
What can Snake Eyes possibly do against an entire squad of deadly shinobi?

Senran Kagura:Shinovi Versus is still not on Gog, even though it was supposed to release at the same time as the steam version. ;_;
