Hello i bought DIVINITY: ORGINAL SIN from G2A few moths back and now i wanted play again, but gog galaxy launcher was not connected to online when i press to connect it asked fro some code, but i didn't see any code in my email then i tried to reinstall the game, but after uninstall the game it said BUY NOW!!!!!!! and now i don't have the game anymore WTF??? HALP!

G2A means probably it was bought with a stolen credit card and charged-back.

First things first: do you see it in your account here:

Game key was revoked as it was brought from G2A.
Sorry, but G2A is NOT authorized key reseller and most probably key was brought fraudulently so you have lost your game AND YOUR MONEY.

It means you had the game until the person who had their credit card stolen found the fraudulent charge and had it charged back. At which point GoG revoked the key.

This is why G2A is a scam. The games are cheaper than you can get here for a reason, namely most were bought with a stolen credit card. The thieves offload them quickly to get what cash they can out of it.

Wow, never heard of that site and it just wreaks of "too good to be true". Things like 10 random Steam CD keys for less than $3.00, The Witcher 3 for less than half its price at a discount... Amazing.

What's even more sad is that the people who think they are getting a huge discount end up losing what little they though they put toward the game aside from the game itself. It's like "renting" the game at a luxury rate.

To the OP: save your pennies, participate in giveaways, contests, wait for sales, you can usually find a good deal directly from the source. GOG currently has their fall sale going on and you can pick up games at a really nice discount and find some similar to the one you wanted to play.

Buying codes from a 3rd party proxy selling codes for multiple platforms, especially at prices lower than the platforms themselves have when on sale, sounds like an ultimate rip-off. Caveat emptor.

I'd suggest making a sticky for G2A but I wonder if anyone would actually read it.

This happens a couple of times a month and on one hand I really feel bad for the buyer but I'm also cognizant that one should do a little research when buying from a secondary distributor and or recognizing when something is too good to be true.

As is the case with all sticky threads, doubtful. :P

I think when the number of people getting burned by this reaches critical mass, it will probably become part of our DNA... then people won't have to read it. :) You might not believe this, but I'm actually one of those people who (these days) actually sits down and reads the instructions before attempting even the most simple of tasks.

I do have to say though, I'm not a huge fan of the Japanese "picture" instructions for constructs of many pieces. I usually find myself going through contortions holding the pieces in just the right orientation to match up with the picture in order to be sure you have the correct piece. Even worse when more than one piece is symmetrical!

Well in the end i got refund from G2A so atleast i got my money back and G2A i would not say it's bad becouse i have been buying many games there but this was first time. Well atleast at the end is i got my money :)

While that's a happy ending, you forgot about two things: a) they held your money; b) they made interest off your money while they held it; and c) you still don't have your game to play.

I wonder how much they milk from others' collectively.
