I got me God of War 2018 now, so it seems it is the last of the Sony-games from GoG. No new games anymore for me...

At least we can say, God of War 2018 is currently number 3 of the most sought or hyped-after games from Sony, nearly 100k reviews on Vapor. However... Helldivers 2 is clearly the "unmatched" game with highest demand, for whatever reason because i am unable to share those "wow it is so great-feeling".

Still. the second most hyped game will be God of War Ragnarök, which is in my mind the highest valued franchise Sony currently got. GoG should try to get it but it surely will not be cheap... to them. If its worth it is a very good question and it totally may depend on the current sells. Actually a wonder Sony is even bringing over their highest valued game to PC... it seems... their small PS5 is not anymore a true demand and PCs simply are inrceasing in popularity, at the same time.

Indeed, GoG lacks a good bunch of other Sony titles but they have to be realistic. I am not sure "Ghost of Tsushima" or "Horizon Forbidden West" may get a true demand on GoG but for "God of War Ragnarök" it could be sufficient.

Horizon: Zero Dawn currently ranks on 244th position (that's near the top of page 6) on the all-time bestsellers list (gog.com/games?order=desc:bestselling) which should roughly translate to at least a six figure amount of sold copies (based on the assumption of a smooth decline in sales numbers the further back on the list you go, and the officially confirmed multiple million sellers [in copies] in the first couple positions on page 1).

Think it's safe to assume that the sequel is going to do similarly well, even more so considering that a lot of people are completionists.

Same for Ghost of Tsushima which, while not a sequel, happens to check the same popular categories (immersive, open world, action adventure, etc.).

They Can also Throw some of those ps1 games with Native PC ports

Twisted Metal 1 and 2 and jet moto 1.

I have all these Playstation games here already. Please get more GOG.

Of course they're desperate, otherwise there wouldn't be any Sony games on GOG or PC.

And, well, if anything, everything that is happening in the industry today serves to make it clear that the customer is always right, especially the customers who buy their products. It is precisely those who buy video games who should be cared for and respected.

It seems to me that the business idea should be based on a win-win strategy for both them and their customers.

I am sincerely saddened by all of this. Sony revolutionized the market with the first PlayStation and the PlayStation 2. I hope they can soon get back on track and be the company they were in the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 era.

Already own all these games, hopefully Sony will get more games on GOG soon.

Don't hold your breath for the corresponding mods - once the tools are ready - to be listed on nexusmods though, in particular the ones aiming to reinstate or improve.
