KainXVIII: And if not - you fucked (like i do) =)
You still have time for the disney games though ;)
Reminder and a bump for those who missed it:

You have less than 4 hours to get the games if you want them before they are removed from the store.
Final chance to get the games before they're gone...

chandra: We'd like to inform you that Disney The Lion King and Disney Aladdin are being delisted from our catalog on July 9th, 2PM UTC, due to the publisher's request.

Everyone who owned the games prior to delisting will still be able to access them through their GOG Library.
Seems like a rather important announcement to make, yet I almost missed it given the thread isn't marked blue as announcements usually are. Why is that?

Because its a delisting. For some reason GOG don't seem to mark them as blue, or highlight them at all. Just a post on the forum is all we get.

As echoed earlier in the thread it would be good if delists were highlighted more. We get news articles about articles, and mods so why not games being removed (i'd deem them far more important and news worthy than 'Check out these mods for Oblivion.')
Maybe it's because they portray the stories slightly differently to the remakes, so they don't want to confuse people coming over from those. As simple as that you think?
People less than 1 hour 45 mins left and don't forget that Disney Jungle Book can be delisted silently.

It should be marked as RED with a big "Warning" sign or exclamation mark. But GOG thinks it's not.

it might not be up to gog. there could be a clause in their contract with the publisher that disallows any overt advertisement of any games pending removal. a big loud post on the forums, bolded and inked in red could constitute advertisement.
Less than 50 minutes left
Disney The Lion King
Disney Aladdin
Disney The Jungle Book (this game is under risk of removal)

You can inform your clients about games removal but you can't specifically highlight it. Yes, sounds convincing.

well i don't know as im not a polish lawyer.

i do know that american legalese is absolutely riddled with strange little details like that. and that's from my contracting experience. obviously, construction is not the same thing as selling games. but my point stands, the only people who know how these contracts are worded or written is gog and their partners.
Maybe GOG doesn't like to be overt about bad news like this because the competition can use it against them somehow (or GOG believes they can).

I think since Disney is not a Polish company being a US lawyer should be fine. Could you please provide me with an example from your construction experience for similar case (informing is okay, but not too loud). No confidential information only the contracts specifics please.

It's a question of perspective. Many GOG users if not all may think that it would be good PR move to make more sound statements about removal. I understand that publishers may inform only in 2 days in advance or even less, the informing part is very important so GOG and that publisher may generate a little extra funds and leave a bit more satisfied customers.

I'd love to have them in my collection and its a shame they will be gone but I cant justify £16 on those two games.
low rated
Yah, I also bought Jungle Book in case. It truly looks the worst out o' teh three earlier, classic DOS Disney titles (even tho they're all sub-par ports, tbh), buuut I'd be super-peeved* having bought the other two if that sudden lee went as well. Already own Hercules an' that Cold Shadow game (which is el fabbo an' probs the best out of all of 'em).

DOS Disney... DOSney?
