tomimt: I'd assume it relates more on cost/profit ratio. Even if they do money, Disney's cutthroat profiteering may view them such an insifnicant, that they axed them because of it. Disney doesn't do nickel and dime business unless it brings in millions.
MadalinStroe: At this point, I doubt Aladdin&Lion King would make less than any of the other Disney games available. Plus the Lion King movie, is soon to be released. That would surely spike the sales for the game. Even if the spike wouldn't be substantial enough to warrant continued support, it makes no logical sense to remove the game now, and not wait 1 more month.
The release of the movie might actually be a part of the problem. They might have done deals which could go unfavourably for them financially if the sales of the games rise too high. Obviously, this is all speculation, but Disney isn't a company that pays any extra of anything if they can help it.
It would be interesting to see if the release of Aladdin had any meaningful impact on the sales of the old platformer.
