I was not banned till I said I was insulted and asked for an apology, there was nothing else for me to take as the reason for being banned other than Finkleroy banning me for asking for an apology.

This was already covered with Sadde cadde. If Finkleroy has something additional they feel I omitted, that can be be mentioned and addressed. So it's up to Finkleroy in that regard.

So say to Finkleroy, "hey is there something Myconv isn't mentioning"? Get Finkleroy to engage in the conversation, if Finkleroy won't, that's not on me. It's not my job to make Finkleroy's unknown case for them, and it's not something I am capable of doing since I can't read minds.

"Accepting what happened" amounts to accepting being (perma?)banned for for asking for an apology, no I can't accept that. As far as going to a third party mediator, I would have if I knew of any option. All the power of the give-away has been placed in Finkleroy's hands to use and abuse as they see fit. I see no way to address this aside from bringing it to the community that gave Finkleroy this power.

Exactky! The issue is (I feel I made this very clear in my OP, but whatever. Goes to show that even shortish posts get TLDR'd) that I got (perma?)banned from both give-aways for asking for an apology.

The issue is the ban. If Finkleroy wants to be nasty with words to me, whatever, I can learn to ignore that. But a ban on being able to get free fun new games, I can't just blow that off.

If the person don't feel himself/herself *guilty* of above mentioned situation than he/she would hate such a request for an apology, in the opposite case it would be even worse. Apologies should be provided on a voluntary basis not on requests. But what do I know in media people are forced to apology even for something they never did.
You could have created a more neutral thread and ask Finkleroy to unban you, that it was a misunderstanding and that you could not provide more keys for April month like you preliminary informed. All I can see is open attack, no one would like it.
I have no idea what were the original conversation and I don't really want to know the contents of private communication, unless both parties are willing to share for some reason.

I didn't say that. You are putting words in my mouth. I said the community gave Finkleroy their power, I didn't say they had the ability to take it from Fink. That would require a overall consensus that I feel pretty confident couldn't be arrived at, especially without an alternative that enough people believe in.

I hope to talk to Finkleroy and get them to see this is wrong. In a way, you could say this thread is a continuation of the private conversation I can no longer have with Finkleroy, the rest of you all are just observers to said conversation. If Finkleroy hadn't blocked our private conversation, I wouldn't have made this thread now.

I also hope that people viewing this thread can see that I was wronged and help me convince Finkleroy to unban me.

Finkleroy did say all the things about me I said Fink said. A request doesn't negate the volunteer part of it. Requests ≠ commands, the person still has to agree.

Also a request for an apology doubles as a way to say to someone, "you wronged me, acknowledge you wronged me". Note I only asked for the apology once.

I never promised any keys in the first place. I just provided a bunch of keys at various times for the give-away, asking nothing in return.

Just that when I was making the case for why I should be forgiven a few hours after midnight on some technicality of a post date, that I would need to give less keys if I couldn't get March's.

I trust Finkleroy's judgement. I've known him on here for a long time, and we've been involved in giveaways together as facilitators and recipients. I honestly believe if he banned you from a giveaway, he had a good reason. I also believe people are fallible and there are better ways to go about appealing the decision, like coming to someone who may be willing to mediate and make sure that the decision was indeed sound.

However, that bridge is burned. You've decided to try and drag it all out publicly. Instead of making a thread that said "I was banned from this giveaway and he blocked me, can someone please contact Fink and get him to hear me out" You said "Here is my dirty laundry for all the world to see."
