And... totally useless if you got some dlcs in the bundles already.

Thank you so much for selling the bundle at 75% off for those who haven't bought anything while simultaneously penalising those who already got some of the dlcs.

Its official, for any future games from Paradox, I'm just waiting out for the 75%+ off everything bundle. I don't care if it takes 5-10 years. I can wait.

Not worth it for me who bought a few of the DLC's already. Also, the way this was done is... bad.

1. Unfortunately the single DLC's are not on sale and already bought DLC's don't factor in at all during checkout.
2. If I'd buy the remaining DLC's I still have on my wishlist at full price I'd need to pay less then for the bundles together.
3. These bundles really remind you of how much the DLC's cost altogether, which is quite a lot.

Also, possibly and hopefully a bug:
I am unable to add single DLC's to the cart from this page, since the promo launched:
https://www.gog.com/game/stellaris
(Tried this to better compare prices/discount with the stuff I have on my wishlist in my cart.)

They do not appear in the cart at all, except when adding via the individual DLC web pages for some, and some of them, like Federations, is never added to the cart, no matter how you try to add it.

Also, you will not receive additional copies of DLC's:
Please note that Stellaris: Apocalypse AND Stellaris: MegaCorp AND Stellaris: Utopia is included in Stellaris Expansions Pack but you already own this item, and will not receive another copy when you buy this pack.

And, at least currently, you can not pay via PayPal:
Selected payment method is currently unavailable, please choose a different one.

Summarizing all of this above, as previous posters already said: I also don't get why this is exciting.
I also will never understand why long term supporters of a game always get punished in this way and marketed to as if it were something to be applauded for. If you are willing to sell at that price point. Paradox Interactive, why not make it so that all of your playerbase can benefit?
I'll continue waiting then. Or maybe stop bothering at all with the DLC's. Not sure yet.

I appreciate the super discount on GOG for the expansion packs. But I'm going to have to pass.
Anyway, thanks to the developer, publisher and GOG!

Reminder Stellaris (base game) is free on Amazon Prime Gaming (comes with a GOG key) until March 5th, which conviently - likely purposely - coincides with this sale.

Hmmm, paradox, define “some”
I love how, barring the current discount, buying the individual expansions is cheaper than buying them through the packs ;)

---

Putting aside the multiple issues with these packs, the Stellaris Stories Pack one for 10€ is a great deal for anyone owning only the base game and wanting to expand the game at a low cost.

ah, just in time for the free Stellaris GOG key on Amazon. I see what you did!

I wouldn't go that far. While the undiscounted bundles are actually a worse price than buying them separately (just by a few cents, but still a damn stupid thing to do), the discounted bundles are not a bad deal if you miss more than one of any pack.

If you miss just the older stuff waiting for the next time they are discounted individually might be a smarter move but especially the newer full expansions take a long while to drop during discounts.

Except the individual DLCs are not on sale.

Species Pack is on sale for $14.99. I already own all except the Aquatics, which is not on sale at $9.99. So I could get the "discounted" pack for an extra $5. Yay.

Also the Expansions Pack is on sale for $24.99. I already own all expect the Nemesis expansion, which is not on sale at $19.99. So again I could get the "discounted" pack for an extra $5.

This is a great sale if you don't already own any Stellaris. If you do tho -- those of us that are already invested and support the game -- it's less than nothing at all.

Plumb: ah, just in time for the free Stellaris GOG key on Amazon. I see what you did!
Oh, nice. Thanks for the heads-up. I just happened to sign up again for the next three months because Amazon gave me half-off for them so I can catch up on some of their shows - Netflix rankled me for upping their sub once again, so I decided I can live without them until enough new stuff of interest is available on their service again. Anything else like the free games I'm getting from Amazon are just a bonus.

Guess I can finally try out Stellaris then for no money down. :)

Hey, no problem.
It seems I've been missing out, only snagging the games on their client, not grabbing the keys for other clients on Twitch. I'll pay closer attention now.

Amazon is a terrible company but as long as this house is currently stuck with a Prime sub, I might as well make the most of it.
