I am not a whale *[1]*. I am "eastern europian", so for me spending a-bit-under-60€ within past year is actually splurging, Also I have never cared about Postal games (even when you could get them for something-like 1€ on steam-sale).
But the major point of those games were irreverence and complete disregard of decency. And the marketing team had a decent idea to show off the spirit of it (I pay my mortgage as a web developer ... do you know how rare it is for me to praise any marketing team ?!), and you ruined it. You decided to, instead of playing up that rebelliousness of the game, turn the "gaming journalists" into something akin to a sacred cow.
Put on a survey on your site, that asks people, where do they learn about new games-to-buy from and the compare the $$$, that math each of the groups of respondents. See what results you get (I would actually be interested to see them too, just to make sure that I am not actually "full of shit" myself).
You decided to side with people who promote region-locking, day1-DLCs and DRM (the out-source marketing agencies, commonly know as "gaming journalism").
And, NO, I will not claim to "stop using your service because of this" .. that's just silly, But, as I climb the salary-ladder, I will not buy up the old games, that I pirated as a kid. Instead I will stick to Steam and keep GOG only as a secondary backup. Because few days ago Steam had the same "social justice tests" and they told the twitter journalists] "we don't care". And you failed.
I am disappointed.
