Woah, did GOG delete the thread in which there was a user freaking out about the VNs?

What happened to warrant deletion rather than locking?
Unless a staff member posted in there before it went missing, warning [whomever] to calm down, It's far more likely it was a victim of mass-spam-report autodeletion, same as any number of threads in the past (though, admittedly, this is the first case I've heard of in a while).

I long ago stopped posting in those, because the self-appointed forum police who interpret "spam" as "anything I find irritating" will carpet bomb stuff like that into oblivion, which (since the forum software is garbage) will reset all of the "Topics you've participated in recently" on the main Community page. A shame, because I've had some very entertaining exchanges with other users in troll threads, trolling the trolls without even directly engaging them. =D

Ah, I didn't know it did that. I was thinking it was weird that the forum thought I hadn't posted at all today.

Just to be clear, I wasn't talking about the "My posts" page; that one only tracks threads you've posted in for the first time ever, and only for about a week. If you post in a topic that you previously posted in two weeks (or a month, or a year) ago, it won't show up there anyway. This is seemingly the intended behavior.
The bug I'm talking about affects the "Topics I've participated in" section on the right side of this page.

He said game X was banned on steam, so i googled. Doesn't look like it actually was.

Huh, weird. There definitely were threads new to me just before it got messed up so I can only assume it was affected by the thread deletion in a similar way.

Steam has retracted its banishment of the games in question and are reviewing their policies.
