Do you know if there are digital stores like GOG for other media?
EDIT: I also mean with a good catalog of 70'-90' titles first, more than just new indies or very old ones.
I'd like to buy a ton of stuff, but existing policies seem s**t!

Is it currently possible to buy digital movies\series\anime without DRM or limitations anywhere? (with good price & quality)

What about music?
Itunes requires its own software and not everything is unlocked, Amazon and 7digital still have many limitations, various minor stores miss many titles..

All of them, then, still apply quite high prices for producs older than 30 years!
Music stores, also, have that old cd-related mentality where single tracks are costlier than full album.
And I hate localized promos, because I don't like much the new italian music\movies..

Bandcamp has some nice game soundtracks there.
It's faar from being a complete alternative store, however, which I need to find.

There really isn't a DRM-free store out there like what you're describing. The closest thing to it is Amazon, which within the past couple of years removed its 1 download limit on mp3 albums.

Bandcamp is AWESOME. There aren't that many "name value" rock artists there overall (though there are a few), but there are plenty of "name value" Industrial/Cyberpunk/Cybergoth/Synthpop/etc/etc groups there.

What is so locked down about Amazon's mp3 store? I was able to download mp3 files that I was able to put on several devices, and no bloated crappy client like that fruity company.

Movie corporations, TV channels, book publishers, record labels and such are just as jealous of their property as game publishers used to be until a few years ago, so best of luck finding what you're looking for. There's an unexploited niche there, though, in case you feel you could make a business out of it.

iTunes music is DRM free and you can redownload any time you want from you account. Exactly like GOG.

Movies, TV Shows and Books however are DRM locked.

Yup, say what you want about Apple, but them managing to force the music industry to drop that shit was and is a pretty big deal, as far as I'm concerned.

You didn't mention books but I'll put in a plug for Baen Ebooks. Their DRM policy is discussed here.

They also have a modest free library which can also be downloaded in several formats.

I can highly recommend 7digital, drm free music - major labels, soundtracks... but they limit the quality to mp3 320 kbps at most, if you care about that.

There's also bandcamp as a few others have mentioned. Nothing for tv shows and movies as far as I'm aware.
