There are at least several important FMV adventure games.
In GOG we have the Tex Murphy games, Gabriel Knight 2 and the Phantasmagorias.
And from the new ones, Her Story.

But there are still many relevant FMV adventures we are lacking.
Some of the more requested (at least wishlist wise) are Black Dahlia, Ripper and The X-Files.

A new FMV game that seems to be good is Contradiction.

But there are many more. To name a few:
- Temüjin / Dark Side of the Moon (Southpeak Interactive)
- Urban Runner (Coktel Vision)
- Silent Steel (Tsunami). Also Flash Traffic
- Frankenstein: Through The Eyes Of The Monster (Amazing Media)
- Fox Hunt (3Vision Games)
- A Fork In The Tale (Advance Reality)
- Conspiracies / Conspiracies II (Anima PPD)

And yes, then there are all those "adult" games like Voyeur, Psychic Detective, Voyeur 2, Days Of Oblivion, Blue Heat, GAG, Tender Loving Care, Days Of Oblivion 2, Point Of View...

PS: There are probably some worthwhile FMV games I didn't considered because I might have them tagged as Myst like, 3rd person or whatever else, because it's not always clear what a FMV adventure game is (I've never considered Toonstruck to be one)

Were there PC versions too? Those remind me a bit of Astron Belt which I also played quite a bit at the arcades, but I got bored of it quite quickly (unlike e.g. Space Ace, which I just had to play to finish it).

BTW, I wonder if the video footage for Astron Belt was taken from movies etc.? It occurred to me already back then that e.g. the part where you fly towards the planet and fly close to its surface, sweeping near mountains, was taken from some Star Trek movie (an animation in the movie showing some terraforming "weapon" that turns planets into Earth-like planets, IIRC; maybe it was in Wrath of Khan?).
