Because people are mindless sheep with no sense of conviction. They will forgive and forget any atrocity as long as they get their new shiny entertainment. It's the goal of those in power to have us distracted from their atrocities by our entertainment. It apparently works. Fuck this society.

It's human nature and people like having fun....I cannot fault them for it, especially with the alternative(depression/etc) being so undesirable. Besides, why go after the stuff that distracts us from bad things and not the bad things themselves?

i.e. don't bother fighting the game company that supports such things, but find ways to stop those bad things instead.

If you want grit look into Grim Dawn, nothing more heart destroying then that game if you let the story sink in... also its a murderfest of some magnitude... but if your for the warhammer 40k then The Surge will fill the nicely!

Blizzard should just switch to making CGI-movies. Their cinematics are way better than their gameplay since D3 and it looks as if nothing has changed.

But then the whole lootbox infested always-online DRM ridden esport chasing micro-transactions cheaply made mobile games can't be an option. How can you make a billion dollars that way when you have to actually work to make content the gamers want? :P

But the way to stop those things would potentially involve not supporting companies that support those bad things, right?

Either way, I think the Internet has made us a little too aware of all the problems in the world. Personally, I keep trying to convince myself to only focus on the problems around me, as those are the only problems I could potentially solve. I would also rather ignore world news, as those just make me feel bad about problems that I can't solve from inside my house or workplace.

Simply NOT buying a game from a company that supports a tyrannical regime is something I CAN do, so that fits the bill.

That would only work if you got many many people to do that, and wouldn't solve the base underlying problem(in this case chinese gov't issues). If people tried to solve the underlying problem with effective solutions it'd likely take less people and be more achievable.

I like it being known to more people(bad stuff) as there is a higher likelihood that stuff might get done by someone....it also helps keep people more honest when their misdeeds are more well known by more people.

That is respectable, at the very least.

Americans are really fussy about boobs being shown in certain things even know it's a part of every female mammals anatomy I just hope they go away from the always online path.

The other day a friend of mine messaged me with "Hype! Hype!" about D4. When I questioned his sanity about hyping an Activision Blizzard game in the current year, he stopped replying to me.
Made me think of this.

With Diablo IV essentially being a MMO you're better off putting your hope into something else.
Something that's more likely to actually happen.

Trailer seems to of bumped up Diabilo 1 sales here in any event.

Am I the only one who thought the gameplay trailer made D4 look like a mobile game?

Don't say such things.....that's a disservice to actual GOOD mobile games(like doom mobile/etc). ;)

I love boobs so i don't see the issue with nudity.

As for 'always online path'. Blizzard since they made WoW, everything is 'always online, everything multi-player, everything DRM'. I don't see them changing now.
