You have my attention so far with this game based on this trailer Blizzard.

EDIT: Cinematic Movie Trailer:

The opening cinematic is the most interesting part of Diablo IV so far.

The gameplay teaser did nothing for me, it literally looks just like what you would get if you threw Wolcen, Path of Exile, and Warhammer Chaosbane into a blender. Meh.

Not to mention that always-online will be mandatory and that the whole game is very likely designed from the ground up around multiplayer shite.

So far a "No thanks" from me.

They missed out the always online connection failing, auction site, lootboxes, real money buying.
Sadly this will be abysmal just like 3.
Everything they have shown looked great; like something I'd play. Everything they have not shown will, most likely, make me ignore it.
low rated
Guess it's official why Diablo and Warcraft resurfaced here.
Indeed the cinematic looks interesting. it doesn't look like Diablo 1 or 2, but interesting.

Also, doesn't the gameplay trailer look similar to the promised Diablo 3, before the bait and switch that ended up being cartoony Diablo 3?
Exactly the same arcady combat as in D3.Looks a bit nicer tho
I'm really excited for it. This and the new WoW expansion. I thought I'd be more hyped for Overwatch 2, but it looks like you just play the regular maps with bots. I might not get it if I can't bring my stuff from OW1. I'm not unlocking all that !@#$ again.

I think Diablo is kind of like gauntlet. The Diablo series was always arcade-like to me.

They said you can transfer all your unlocked stuff into Overwatch 2.

Thanks for the info!
Yep, it looks okay but when are these devs going to stop making games where the hero has to fight so many baddies at one time, even with a bunch of helpers? Making games like that is unreal and unrealistic and yeah, I know it's just a game but give me normal games where 50 baddies don't pop out from behind a tree and overwhelm you as they should. If they had made the game with a max number, say 6 then it would be worth looking into but this is just another boring hack and slash. And will not see my money.

I am hoping that the Paladin makes it into this game.

I want the whole crew back. The monk was just a dollar store paladin.

Good guess!

I'll still keep calling DRM a bug, not a feature.

I still can't quite fathom why this had to be a separate game rather than just an add-on, considering that pretty much everything carries over and that OW1 players will be able to play on OW2 maps with OW2 players. (Very slightly) Shinier graphics could also have been a simple upgrade.

That just leaves the PvE stuff. Considering how braindead the PvE event missions have been in OW1 I'm wondering how much they'll actually improve in this.
